Dude, I would not let them know how much money your taking as they run counter information. Lock in the sock works great. Gives you some distance, it’s best to use tube socks and double them. I also carry a flat multipurpose tool in my wallet. On side is knife sharp, I wear boots and carry a six inch flashlight. I have used my shoe strings to attach the knife edge out to the flash light in less than 2 minutes you have a hatchet. Every time I fly I have this with me.
