2021-03-31 00:15:08 +0000 UTCWith the martial arts question of "if someone were to grab your gun" see some of the videos on weapon strikes. This is why we break down with both pistol and rifle when crossing a thresh hold. https://www.patreon.com/posts/muzzle-strikes-40365641?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copy_to_clipboard&utm_campaign=postshare

2021-03-30 16:50:28 +0000 UTCGood lesson, you explained very well. I have a two-part question related to pistol footwork/mindset. First, when going through the door way is it best to have the pistol at the second phase of drawl so pointed down range but tight to your body/hip? I'm thinking reaching out like that if someone is right there they could grab and start a hand-to-hand situation. That leads me to my second question. Martial arts and defending yourself when entering a doorway. Obviously bullets fly faster than you can run to disarm someone away from the door but when entering is there a couple of defences you could go over if say someone grabs the gun or whatever. I know that this can go into so many situations and self-defence martial arts could be talked about for hours but I think a large part of doing this kind of stuff is having the discipline to keep your weapon on you if things get hand to hand.

2021-03-25 12:18:10 +0000 UTCYour foot or just flat footed ? I have a size 13 and move best off the balls of my foot or is it simply what the individual feels most comfortable with ? Maybe a dumb question- just looking for your thoughts on being most effective- footwork is crucial.... Thanks,, your videos are awesome !
