Truck Guns - 3 Options I use & My 2 cents

Truck guns is one of the most frequently asked questions in the emails here.  While I don't run them often, I do sometimes (situation always dictates). Here is what I run, when I run them, and my 2 cents for you to take or leave.

Cheers to Friday 🍻

Truck Guns - 3 Options I use & My 2 cents

Can anyone list out the guns he mentioned in the 'Bare Bones" specifically" PWS or PCC Carbine with the Glock 19x and the types of mags. What company would you give business that's an America First company as most of our weapons have been shipped to Ukraine or elsewhere... Thank you "Eliters"

Loved this... I believe what you said "Initially" is USE: "Grey Man skills," which morph you to adopt/adapt a blend in mode of survival of the fittest among the fattest when the "Many Shades Of Different Color Shits Has Hit the Proverbial Fan" as most times you are not the direct target of something you may be passing through... and you are looking to get you, your dog and your family to safety(ASAP) as you may have rehearsed what the fuck happens when a situation occurs with them as most things will be told to you before they happen so you may know what you are facing or not.... Going over... "Shades of Grey Man" may be great as I believe you DO NOT make yourself a target when you are not armed to the hilt with shit that people can SEE on your person, also looking dangerous as fuck helps possibly and/or the look of simple is pleasing as it blends in... .I 100% enjoyed the "Bare Bones," EXAMPLE as I believe 'Speed of Movement is Power" that you mentioned of the PCC Carbine PWS(unsure of the exact name you said) with fixed HK sights as I am a neophtye in this rap(gun) game. 'Light in load and you can run on the go...' & Glock 19x with 31round hollow points with 5 mags. I like how quick and seamless you can be with these tools as your thinking will not be taxed as everything flows together and is easily transitionaly to use and is transitionary from one gun to the next without much thought and you do this prior to the planning.

I'm out in the sticks. This was the first video I clicked on when I went to their 3. I think maybe what this video needs is a rephrasing. Maybe something more like a "traveling rifle"

Truck gun makes a lot of sense in rural areas.

Shawn

Always thought a truck gun was mainly for ranchers & people out in the sticks that carried a rifle in the truck, just in case they ran across dinner or a bear (or poachers). Even then, they don’t store the rifle in the truck. It always goes with them.

LionOfTheMorning

Added responsibility and safe storage complications.

Thanks Justin!

I don't like carrying a truck gun either for all the reasons you mentioned, plus I'm not gonna run out of a Walmart getting shot up, grab my ar and run back in there... I'm not a Navy Seal. However, Clint Smith from Thunder Ranch made a valid point about carrying a truck gun, basically he said, roughly speaking, his philosophy is using his pistol to fight his way to his rifle in his vehicle, in such a case that would warrant that.

Awesome video Sean!!!

77 gr black hills otm is my preference for effectiveness. Check this one out if you haven't seen it yet. I go into detail on the green tip/77gr <iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/p8SASAy7puQ" width="560"></iframe>

I’m with you, if I feel the need to have a rifle, I’m probably just not going to go there. I have my P365 and a spare mag, and 99.9% of the places I go, if I get in trouble I should be able to handle it with 21 bullets. One thing I’d like to see you cover, is ammo selection for a home defense rifle. I’ve heard you mention 77 grain before, but what’s the reason?

Derek Ferguson

Those are pretty cool.

Shawn

I think the upgraded EDC from micro to compact makes sense if the likeliness of danger increases.

Shawn

👊🏻

I like the CAA micro conversion kit. It’s not an actual firearm but if shit is going crazy it fits my EDC pistol, and it gives me rifle type ergonomics.

Living in Minneapolis, driving through 3rd precinct almost daily for work, I carry a .300 blackout . 8” barrel 150gr pros Law tactical folding stock (nicely concealed, and allows one shot when folded) I also carry a Glock 43 or a sig xcarry Car jacking, shooting, robberies, and murders are through the roof. If I’m not rolling through the hood, it’s usually just a G43

Great points thank you again.
