I saw some awesome responses ranging from I'm unarmed to too many windows. I will admit, we did some creative cropping on the IG post so they couldn't fully see my right hand. (Most on the gram missed the gold plated cannon I was holding π).
The reason I bring it up is a perception check. I want you to ask yourselves if you are taking in all of the information accurately when you read a situation. When you get deeper into this stuff it's a good exercise to test your perception. Remember, this stuff is hard and is learned behavior. I'll be putting more out like this after we wrap up our current Shawn Ryan Show shooting schedule and more fundamentals as well.
Homework:
Look at your living space and start to read the room. Give it a shot to identify knowns and unknowns, where you can pause so you don't get trapped in a hot spot.

I see the tactics appeared team oriented, I was just thinking about all the places I could get lit up if I was trying this as a single person clearing my house of multiple home invaders. Didn't think about the sunglasses, I rarely wear them, (Maybe I should start. Vigilance Elite Shades anyone?) but that could be a problem. It would be great to see it from the operators perspective also.

That's funny on the Desert Eagle. I knew you had a gun based on how your arm was hanging, but couldn't tell what exactly it was.

Every room,restaurant and grocery store I have to be against a wall ,shelf or something so I can see as many entry points and people as possible. I'm constantly telling my wife and daughter to watch their surroundings. Only question I have is in a low light situation do you always keep lights off? By the way received my shirt and it rocks!

2020-08-14 11:03:31 +0000 UTCActually ran the house from all rooms from both ends. I can navigate my home in total darkness...it's a farm. When the electricity goes out, there are no helpful little night lights π There are helpful tripping hazards for the uninvited π and let's not forget the dogs π I still missed the hand cannon. My takeway...it's not always the obvious or easily seen threat. More practice. More videos to help us train. β€πΊπ²
