I appreciate 1911s for what they are, but for a carry gun, I tend to prefer the Sig P220 series. Specifically the 226 and the 227.

2025-01-07 18:53:14 +0000 UTCI carry the kimber pro cdp ii and I cant argue with anything you said shaun. I upgraded to 11 rounds including chambered and I dont like to have my safety on in certain situations. The grip safety helps as well as having trigger discipline. You almost dont need the safety if you practice. I only use it when im moving comfortably

2023-01-15 23:58:33 +0000 UTCI like the 10mm. Glock 20 is a cool gun. If you want to go 45 with a high round count, the FNX is a huge gun but holds 15+1. Not my first choice. That G20 though, I'll probably be getting one.

2020-12-01 04:19:03 +0000 UTCRound capacity is my biggest issue with a 45 in general . i been looking and the best i can find is 13 rounds in a full size i believe from springfiled . I was thinking maybe a 10mm for a bigger round you can get good capacity from the 10mm cause they aren't as wide . maybe a video on 10mm would be cool or just different calibers in general .

2020-11-28 03:06:48 +0000 UTCI need to get ahold of one. That's one I actually don't have one and it's on my list to buy. That one might be a future video ππ».

2020-04-02 01:46:36 +0000 UTCTell us about the p226. I bought a used MK25 off a guy in a Loweβs parking lot a few months ago. I just bought it to be a SEAL fan boy, now that I know more I wish I got the Legion, but itβs a sweet gun. I shoot it really well and itβs the gun Iβve spent the most time drawing from a holster. Itβs my favorite gun to fondle watching Steven Seagal movies.

2020-04-01 21:39:02 +0000 UTCYou're making me want to shoot some CMP firearms! ππ»

2020-04-01 20:36:56 +0000 UTCI hear that. Funny thing, when it first came out, I thought I'd hate that gun but ended up liking it after trigger time.
Shawn
2020-04-01 20:34:13 +0000 UTCThey are cool guns but $$$ and picky. Fun to shoot though.

2020-04-01 20:33:01 +0000 UTCGotta love simple and reliable.

2020-04-01 20:32:05 +0000 UTCI view 1911's the same way I view a lot of "modern historic" firearms. Think of an M1 Garand for instance. When it comes down to it, it could get the job done. It can be used to neutralize a threat if necessary; though not ideally. A 1911 can get it done when necessary, but they certainly can be outperformed by a number of modern handguns. They are sweet to shoot, though.

2020-04-01 06:56:59 +0000 UTCA great piece of American history every proud American should own, keep in safe except for family BBQ ( especially with a leather holster). For (conceal) carry Glock, recently shifting to sig 365

2020-04-01 02:52:01 +0000 UTCBuddy of mine sells these to rich people at a high end range/gun store at a ridiculous price haha. I have a CZ 19B which is similar to a 1911 in some ways, hate the safety, but itβs accurate as all hell. Solid video!

2020-04-01 02:51:17 +0000 UTC1911s Definitely have the cool factor. Classic and some say intimating. I use to have cars like that and I would always have to work on them on the weekends and loved it! Guess what I'm not single anymore and I carry a Glock 43 IWB and drive a Plain Jane F 150. You know why? Cause they work every damn time it's called upon. Pretty sure I went off track but my point is I would go to the range all day with a 1911 but when it comes to my Daughters, my Wife or my life is on the line I know my Glock is going to fire.
