the look at the camera when the bullet fell was so good haha

Hey Shawn, not sure if you still check this or not. What sights do you have on that Glock?

Nobody

Great drill

Donovan

Did you make sure it was all caps? That worked for me

Caleb

Password wont work

Jon

Usually that's it when hitting low left. Dry fire should help identify and correct this. Keep at it 👊🏻.

Shawn

Thanks brother ! I will definitely give that a try. I believe is anticipated recoil and I definitely shooting low. Be cool and be safe! 👍

Andrew Rowe

Been there! That's a good exercise for identifying a flinch and learning what your tendencies are.

Shawn

Dry firing will help with that. If you are consistently grouping to the left you might want to adjust your rear sight slightly (really common with Glocks). I'm personally not a fan of having my sights off center in the slide if I do not have to, my gripe in the G48 video. Before making adjustments, I'd also have another shooter shoot your gun and see if they experience the same issue.

Shawn

Hadn't seen the casing on weapons. nice idea. I use a snap cap in mine as the guy you trained me stressed not wanting to mess up firing pin. He would mix a snap cap in magazine while I was shooting to see if I would flinch and throw off the shot. At first i thought it was mean but then i understood the why behind. Keep it up and stay safe.

Michael Parkhill

Great drill! What about those of use that shoot left? I always seem to have that issue but only with my Glocks (Im assuming its the trigger safety messing with me)

Paul Jankins

Is the vimeo link dead on this one? Not showing anything.

David Munari

Been there on the too much coffee! All about balance.

Shawn

I loaned a buddy a pistol laser for a week and we did this with a quarter on his front sight after he had some time to practice. I can't keep my hand steady enough to extend most of the time. :/ too much coffee. Know what I'm practicing this week!

John W

Thanks James!

Shawn

This was one of your best - simple, straightforward, effective.....something we can all do most anytime. Can't overemphasize operating the pistol effectively offhand. It seems that we I dial in both sides I'm generally more consistent on my dominant hand.
