In this video I cover one of my body armor setups and the general philosophy of the gear placement.
I dive pretty deep on this one and will be explaining additional armor setups in the future. Leave any comments or questions below.

2024-08-10 07:18:27 +0000 UTCThanks for the video, unfortunately I realized that I'm one of those cheesedicks that run the med kit on my back. I felt like you were calling me out personally on that one haha. Looks like I'll be making some adjustments today

2023-11-30 16:16:19 +0000 UTCThank you for giving me this link ! I rely a lot on your knowledge! I like things simple and clean ! I believe that the more you know the less you need to carry ! Been looking to get a plate carrier from Ronin Tactical but didn’t know what kind of plates to use ! Besides I trust your knowledge ! Damn I feel like I’m back in basic training lol ! Thank you again 👍

2021-02-27 03:57:44 +0000 UTCShawn awesome video! You said in the video if you were the medic on the team it would be set up differently. Aside from having more medical equipment, how would it be set up differently? You seem to have a really good set up medical wise. Also, whats your standard mag count? And where is your preferred place for your pistol mags and how many of those do you carry?

2020-12-29 02:24:39 +0000 UTCI’m a little jealous haha I don’t think you can get that camo pattern commercially.

2020-12-23 09:40:30 +0000 UTCThe setup here is one of my go to's. I like having everything in immediate access. It also helps being able to maintain positive control of your gear.

2020-09-22 03:21:48 +0000 UTCWhat's your opinion on trying to keep the front of the carrier as slick as possible for when bullets start flying and having to lay/crawl in prone?

2020-09-20 16:38:57 +0000 UTCNo worries at all Heath! Everyone's situation is different and you can also overkill prep on certain things. I'd probably say it's safe to start with one good setup and go from there.

2020-09-10 04:05:54 +0000 UTCI'm new to some of this stuff. I have done 3 gun matches and stuff like that but I'm starting to get into the preparedness part of things and im just wondering how much of the body amer should a guy honestly have. Cause I feel like a clown for even thinking about buying tackticool stuff and don't wanna be a loser lol

2020-09-06 00:34:36 +0000 UTCRight on! For the size you want everything to fit snug and tight, might need to try some on to know what brand fits the best. Without doing that (might not be possible to try on), I would contact the manufacturer and see what they suggest, most of them should be eager to answer this question. This one has ceramic plates which I like but need to be careful setting it down regardless of armor material, just a good habit.

2020-05-01 21:56:06 +0000 UTCI know it's been a couple of weeks since this came out but I thought I had been a patron of yours but I apparently wasn't. I have two questions 1) Size ? I've seen different company's list sizes, no sizes and the carrier should fit the size plates you're using which makes more sense than anything but if I did need a size, how would I know what size to get ? 2) You said you didn't like carrying a ton of "steel" and to be "careful" when setting your carrier down. Are you using ceramic plates in your set-up ? Thanks for the information which was concise and practical !
