June/July Sketches 2 - Therion (Octopath Traveler)(Sequence)

Here's a sequence featuring Therion from Octopath Traveler. The idea was suggested by BiscuitBox.

"And second of all I'd like to have another go at suggesting Therion from Octopath Traveler. While infiltrating an enemy hideout, he finds their food stores and can't resist helping himself to some juicy baskets of fruit - their entire supply of Healing Grapes, Inspiriting Plums and Energising Pomegranates.

He gets up getting a belly but that doesn't stop him from sneaking about in the shadows. But when he gets caught, his body absorbs all those nutrients, he grows huge and then quickly turns the tables on the ruffians. 💜"

Therion finds himself infiltrating the base, all according to a bounty he agreed to do. With his skill levels as a thief, things were going smoothly...until he found his weakness...Food! A whole storage room filled with food! He had to admit that he didn't have much to eat before the mission...so he fell into temptation.

He dug right in, snatching and biting each an every piece of food and fruit that was at his grasp, no bag or barrel was safe from this hungry thief. The more he ate, the more his belly expanded and poked from under his cloak, but he didn't care, he only kept on eating.

He kept on overindulging himself, now emptying whole sacks and barrels from the food they contained, leaving behind more and more empty bags and barrels. The sheer hunger giving him newfound strength, he easily lifted whole barrels full of food, and made their contents fall directly into his hungry mouth! Each finished barrel made his belly even more obscenely huge and bloated, letting out groans and growls while it tried to proccess all the food the greedy thief was eating.

Finally, after eating the last piece of food he could find, he decided to rest. His as plopping down the floor, as his orbular belly bounced up and down as he did, making a small quake in the proccess. He was finally able to see the consequences of his actions...as a huge orb of flesh was resting on his lap...realizing that he might have overdone it.

But there was no time to rest, as he still needed to complete his mission. He slowly got up, and started to plan how he wa gonna continue. For now, all that matters was that he kept himself hidden. So maybe if he took slow, soft steps...

BOOM

It only took ONE step to make the whole base shake in a tremor! Therion not only had a huge, heavy belly to waddle around as he walked, but he didn't realize that he became MUCH heavier than before!...Makes sense, considering he ate a whole storage full of food. And to make things worse, that tremor was more than enough to alert the guards! Therion couldn't do much more than to just wait until the encounter...

As the guards cornered Therion into a corner, the thief could only take out his dagger to threaten back...but he was only answered by mocking and laugther. The guards couldn't help to laugh at such an odd case of an invader to their base: a pot bellied thief. They were not able to take him serious at all, and even making snarky comments about his looks, Therion gritting his teeth in anger. Until a guard used the wooden part of their spear to poke at the pudgy belly of Therion...which in response, started to growl and vibrate violently. Making even the guards back away from it. As Therion's face looked like he was holding something back...

UUUUOOOOOORPPP!

Therion let out a massive belch, so loud and powerful that made the guards fall down on their butts! The burp kept going and going...but something even more odd was going on...Therion's body started to grow in size! Is that all of a sudden, all the food he had eaten started to get digested, and directly turned into pure size and muscle! In no time, Therion went from a thief twink, to a massive, musclebound monster towering over the guards. As the growth seemed to stop, Therion looked down at the guards, who staggered at making eye contact with such a massive beast. As the massive thief looked down at the two guards, there weren't any thoughts of getting revenge or finishing the mission...there were only thoughts about food, and the guards were looking mighty tasty at that moment.

ANd so, Therion's mission was forgotten, as he only focused to satisfy this endless hunger that he gained with his new size. As he plowed through the walls of the base, grabbing any type of food OR guard to shove into his mouth, he only kept on getting bigger and hungrier! His body enough to fill and destroy more and more of the fortress, as more "food" kept getting easier to reach with his size...One can only imagine what will happen if this hungry monster stays hungry once he's done with this fortress...
