February/March 2025 Sketches 5 - Aether n Tartaglia (Genshin Impact)(Sequence)

Here's a sequence featuring Aether and Tartaglia from Genshin Impact. The idea was suggested by Tezu.

"Aether and Childe haven't seen each other for a long while now, with Childe resting up since his fight in Fontaine and Aether's adventures in Natlan. Now that Valentine's day is coming up, they want to go all out in what they know is the perfect gift for the other: the biggest, most challenging battle they've faced yet! They both train to extreme degrees, eating as much food as they can whenever they aren't training to let themselves bulk up even bigger! By the time the special day finally comes around, they both tower over the regions they'd spent the last few days bulking up in! Eager to give the other their gift, the two just so happen to reconvene in Liyue, quite fitting considering it's where they first met! All the citizens were terrified when they felt the ground trembling from Tartaglia's footsteps and looked up to see how utterly massive he'd become, but they cheered when they saw Aether show up shortly after. Surely he was here to save them from the giant fatui's reign! Unfortunately, the two realized that even after all their training to give the other their most intense battle yet, they were still the same size as each other! That simply wouldn't do! So the two giants start eating whatever and whoever they can get their hands on in the city, trying to outgrow each other, not for the sake of any real competition of size, but because they're determined to give a better gift!"

You suggestion works really well to explain what's going on!

1. Both Aether and Childe are determined to give each other the best battle of their lives.

2. Both of them start battling hordes of monster as a warm up.

3. They max out on their bulk sessions by eating a lot, all the bulk serving as fuel for their next training sessions.

4. Their bodies growing from the bulk and training. Aether is lifting some rocks he made from his Geo powers, while Tartaglia is fighting and lifting Mitachurls with ease.

5. The amount of food they eat increases the more they grow. Aether already dwarving the restaurant he goes to even when sitting. While Tartaglia makes good use of his felled enemies, and turning them into fuel for his hungry, growing body.

6. The increase of food intake makes their gainz increase even more drastically and rapidly, Aether being able to lift whole rock spires. While Tartaglia purposedly summons the All-Devouring Narwhal to settle the score...eventually defeating it and absorbing its mass...

7. Both titans meet at Liyue, finding out they're about the same size...both of them knowing quite well what to do about it.

8. Them going through a feeding frenzy, eating anything and anyone that was in their giant grasp, each snack making their bodies pulse bigger, making it more like a Growing Contest more than a fight, in order to make themselves even more powerful to give their best friend/rival the most even/uneven fight they could ever get.
