April 2024 Sketches 9 - Denki Kaminari (My Hero Academia)(Sequence)

Here's a comic featuring Denki Kaminari from My Hero Academia. The idea was suggested by Shin.

"After a particularly vicious mission, Denki feels like something has changed about his Quirk but he can’t quite put his finger on what. It’s only after he touches something electronic and instantly drains it of all its energy, making his muscles bulge slightly larger, his body stretching a bit taller, that he gets it. His Quirk can now drain electricity from things to boost his own power! Eager to see just how much stronger he can get the mischievous man starts to grab anything electronic he can get his hands on, making a menace of himself around the others who keep trying to stop him but are completely unable to resist his growing mass. Kaminari isn’t afraid to brag about it and rub it in people’s faces either as he eventually drains everything in the dorm, moving out to find even more things to power himself with. He makes his way through the town, draining and growing, not realizing (or caring) about the amount of damage he’s causing as he’s just so eager for more until, finally, the entire city is completely drained of power, Kaminari now towering larger than any building in the city! Feeling a little disappointed now that everything is without power, Kaminari perks up when he notices storm clouds rolling in, lightning flashing within. Elation swells within him as everyone else realizes just what this means, feeling a cold chill run down their backs as the tallest thing in the city (Kaminari of course) gets struck by bolt after bolt of lightning, the pure electricity coursing through his body and sending his growth into overdrive, the insatiable energy thief eyeing the multiple tiny cities in the distance, all glowing in the darkness of the night, like snacks ready for him to devour!"

Denki was exhausted from the last mission...everyone else got unharmed, but he was the only one that got hit by a bizarre ray that was shot by the villain's gun. It mostly made his whole body feel shocked, but not much else. Either way, it was humilliating enough that he was the only one that got shot. So all he wanted to do was to just lay down on his bed...but as he was about to turn off his lamp, he was surprised by a sudden shock coming from the piece of furniture! He held his hand to see if he burned himself or something, but instead, he could see how his body visibly expanded right before his eyes, his baggy casual clothes becoming much tighter all of a sudden...

Denki wasn't the brightest...but he was smart enough to figure out what was up! And so, he started touching every single thing that functioned with electricity, completely draining them, and adding it to his size. Not only increased the size of his muscles, but his height too!

Once he was done with his room, he loudly slammed the door open, and headed for the living room. Meanwhile, Hanta was just browsing the fridge to get a snack. He saw Denki aproaching, without noticing how much bigger he was, and BAM, he was rudely pushed away from the bridge by Denki tackling him! Hanta was about to tell the blond boy a piece of his mind...but saw Denki's new talent take action right before him, Denki growing in size by absorbing the elctricity from the fridge!

Soon Denki was taking everyone's electric items, them not being strong enough to stop him, and he easily pushed them away with his big arms and expanding mass! THe rest of the furniture fell to the same fate, Denki steadily filling up the whole living room...And as it became too cramped, he decided to use his electric powers to attract all of the remaining electricity of the building! Accelerating his growth inmensely, shoving everyone into the walls by letting his mass push them aside...until he outgrew the front of the building!

Free from the confines of the dorm, it opened a whole world of tasty electricity to absorb...Starting from the street cables, giving a nice boost in height to have a better view of the surrounding down town.

He went from street to street, slamming his fists into the buildings, too focused on growing rather than the well being on the people that lived in those buildings. As he had his fists inside the buildings, proceeded to use his powers to absorb each home's electricity, making him expand with each invaded home...until he became too big to fit in the streets!

This proccess was becoming too slow...so he decided to go straight to the source! As he reached the Power Plant, he got on his knees, and grabbed the whole facility...and started draining it dry! His size increasing at a ridiculos rate! His shadow covering the whole city as he towered over it...

As he drained the whole city dry from its energy, he decided to flaunt his size and power to the city, telling them how lucky they were to have sucha BIG and STRONG hero watching over them...literally!...but it was still not enough...and as if was a response from Mother Nature, Denki's attention went to a massive storm cloud building up on the horizon.. pretty far for normal sized people, but for Denki, it was just a few steps away from him...

He non chalantly walked into the cloud, and opened his arms, happily welcoming the storm on him...And soon enough, thunderbolts shoot at him from all directions, each hit expanding him even further. Denki ecstatic from feeling all this power course through his veins, feeling his whole body expand and use more and more space, his feet pushing the ground...trees...and even mountains aside with how huge he was!

He kept on growing further and further...until the whole storm cloud dissipated as Denki outgrew it, absorbing all of its energy!

Now, even the tallest mountains couldnt reach Denki's ankles! His legs and arms could crush whole countries, as his pecs could have several nations living on thos big, curvy plains.

Denki, ecstatic from the power trip, squatted down to have a better view of the diminutive cities surrounding him, looking like small fireflies on the earth surrounding him...And decided to announce that he had other priorities over being a hero...instead, he plans to devour every remaining city in the world to grow even further, until all of the electricity of the world has become part of his godly size and power!
