"When Dragaux corrupted the Four Masters, he didn’t expect the dark influence to have such a strong effect on Abdonis. While the others mostly stayed the same with just a dark aura surrounding them, Abdonis kept growing bigger and stronger with every exercise and fight he did. By the time the Trainee and Ring reached the next Dragaux Stadium, the two of them were surprised when Dragaux flew away to have them fight Abdonis instead, at least until they saw him enter the stadium. He was so huge now that nearly stepped on them trying to fit inside the stadium! The Trainee wonders if he should have made some more gains as he looked at how he must have been the same size as one of Abdonis’ giant abs."
So here's Abdonis arriving at the stadium the moment Dragaux leaves, his food destroying big part of the structure. He cockily towers over the Trainee, showing off everything he had, not only his abs. WIth how big and majestic he was, it only fed his ego and power even further with how prideful he was.
