March 2022 Sketches 13 - Barry n Buck (Pokemon)

Here's a picture featuring both Barry and Buck from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/PLatinum. The idea was suggested by Lasciua-Diaboli.

"Then the last idea is with Barry again but this time including Buck! I sweat he's more of a rival to Barry than Lucas is, pure competition and challenging Barry where the rivalry between Lucas and Barry seems a bit more wholesome. Could be appealing to see Barry and Buck having trained super hard and the two of them fighting to prove who's the strongest trainer with Stark mountain behind them and maybe Lucas between them ; ) or whatever way ya wanna swing the situation!"

As Lucas was his taking his time to go through the Battle Zone, Barry and his newfound rival, Buck, were doing their bestest to train to outpower each other. THeir rivalry growing stronger with each zone they bulldozed over with how strong their team...AND themselves were getting. It took them no time to reach Stark Mountain...and so they decided to keep on training while they waited for Lucas.

And to Lucas's surprise, when he reached the far north of the Battle Zone, he wasn't greeted by the iconic Stark Mountain...but two other, BIGGER mountains! One made from a bunch of ...Snorlax?? And the other made of a bunch of Golem! But the biggest part of them were at the bottom, lifting all of those hefty pokemon, he could recognize the faces of his two rivals, Barry and Buck, but now they were RIPPED! Their bodies were several times bigger and stronger than the last time Lucas saw them at the start of the Battle Zone. And all that size wasn't for show! THey were trying to see who was able to lift the heaviest pokemon! So Lucas found them in the middle of this extreme contest of strength...Seems like its a pretty even competition, and with how big and strong they are, Lucas better choose wisely to not get in their bad side by not giving them the answer they want to hear~
