March 2022 Sketches 7 - Sycamore (Pokemon)

Here's a picture featuring Professor Sycamore from Pokemon X/Y. The idea was suggested by adamony.

"Sycamore from Pokémon XY: I don’t see too much muscle art of him so maybe something to do with studying mega evolution has made him huge"

Sycamore has asked for Calem for some assistance once again to research Mega Evolutions even further. Lately, the giant crystal in Alistar city has been letting out a strange light, even outside of the hours where the Mega Evolution stones are most active. Sp the professor called the champion over to that city to investigate things from up close...

Both Sycamore and Calem were axamining the giant crystal thoroughly, looking at the strange lights coming out of it. The professor was taking notes while leaning on the crystal, while Calem was examining it from the other side. Without even noticing, Calem's bracelet made contact with the giant crystal, which made it react by letting out a blinding light! Calem covered his face from the sudden light, and Sycamore was pushed into the sea from the sudden surge of light and energy that hit him!

Calem, once he recovered, went to check how the Professor was doing, only to not find him anywhere behind the crystal. Calem was looking at all directions desperatedly...until he saw a bunch of bubbles forming from the sea behind the crystal. The surge of bubbles becoming bigger and bigger the more time passed, to the point it became as big as the nearby city! And so...

*Splaaaaaash*

A gigantic figure slowly surged out of the sea, more and more of the figure showing up to the surface, the water that was covering it cascading down like great waterfalls. All the buildings of Alistar City have already been surpassed in height by this ever raising figure, its shadow looming over the city and the nearby rest of the region. The figure finally stopped raising, covering the sun from how big it was, and all the water has finally fell down back to the sea, revealing who the figure was...which was Professor Sycamore!

Except, well, he was several times bigger than his regular size...and much bigger than any pokemon Calem has ever seen! The Professor was checking himself out, looking confused at first...but with all the "enhancements" he got from the power, Calem could see a bit of a smirk on the more mature professor...And then the Professor was reminded of Calem, wondering how he was. But to his luck, he just had to look down, having to look past his two big mounds that were his pecs, to find Calem right in front of the giant crystal...which definetly was much more minuscule compared to the Professor's size.

Even though this was quite the drastic change, and this opens more questions than answers about MEga Evolution...The Professor, with his usual gentle, excited smile, announced that this was just the begining of his new research! Calem better be ready with an overly excited, giant Sycamore~
