Chad and Frodrick (Comic)

Here's a comic I worked on for Valentine's Day! A comic introducing two new OCs, CHad (Mega/Gigantamax CHarizard gijinka) and Frodrick (Snom/Frosmoth gijinka), showing how they met, and Chad's one sided love...and MUCH stronger determination. 

This is the whole comic, with a few edits/fixes, and an alt version of the 8th page as a Patreon exclusive. This is the longest comic I've drawn, so hope you like it. ^^

Page descriptions:

1. This is how they met for the first time, starting Chad's one-sided love, and Frodrick's rejection due to fear of Fire Types.

2. Chad was pretty bummed out, but it would take more than that to break his passion! So he decided to work on his body for Frodrick to acknowledge him! He went straight to the school gym whenever he had time, during breaks, after school...

...and whenever he was able to see Frodrick while training, a spark of passion would boost his determination AND gainz, encouraging him to keep on training even harder! Slowly awakening his Gmax/Mega potential with each training session...

3. PE teachers admired Chad's determination so much, that they went ahead and gave him the keys to the school gym. So even after he graduated, they still welcomed him to go use the gym whenever he wanted...which he appreciated quite a bit, since he used it every day during summer~

And curiously enough, Frodrick was still hanging around  school during summer too, which only boosted Chad's gains even further whenever he saw Frodrick, escalating his growth inmensely.

4. It's been some time since the last time Chad saw Frodrick...Until one day, when he was excercising with some custom weights the staff created for him, he finally saw Frodick..and he evolved into a Frosmoth! His spark shone brighter than ever, surging in size and power once again!

When he was about to approach Frodrick once again, the little moth ran away inmediatedly...but Chad did notice that Frodrick was hanging a poster on the bulletin board...  Was this his chance to get closer to Frodrick?~

5. After arriving to the club, Chad was received by a wrestling ring filled with big, strong guys! Seems like Frodrick was holding a contest to see who was the strongest to become his bodyguard. Strong guys aside, the moment Chad spotted Frodrick, he excitedly waved at him~

Frodrick was shocked! He was expecting strong guys to come...but not a fire type! Much less Chad himself! He was having a crisis...so he decided to reason with himself to calm down. Even if there was an "odd" chance for Chad to win, Frodrick will be just fine around him...right?

6. The match begun! Chad hasn't just trained his body...but his battle skills too! His strength and size already outmatched his opponents, but knowing that Frodrick was watching him, his spark was shining brighter than ever, increasing his size with each successful hit!

The match became pretty much one sided real quick! Meanwhile, Frodrick's confidence was slowly melting away with each of Chad's attacks...he wasn't a sp. attacker at all..but a physical attacker instead! He was terrified by Chad's sheer, physical power...

7. Chad was not only passionate about his love, but his fighting spirit was pretty huge too! So what better way to finish the (unbalanced) match than with a big BANG! Heat Crash's damage based on the user's weight, so it'll only get stronger the bigger Chad gets!

Frodrick was too afraid to even dare watch Chad's signature move...But the moment he saw Chad smooshing the helpless competition with his massive, burning buns, he only had one thought... He would be in danger by just by being near Chad...

8. The battle was over...all opponents scrambled all over the club, while Chad stepped triumphant on a destroyed ring, proudly displaying his huge body. He wasn't interested in the prize money, the only prize he was interested in was the one he was directly staring at...

9. After some minutes passed, for Chad to shrink down to his more "normal" size, and for Frodrick to snap out of his panic attack, he finally let Chad into his office. As scary as it was...Chad really is a formidable unit, with lots of potential to be an excellent bodyguard...

And considering that he was the winner of the match..he had to hand it to Chad. The moment Frodrick finally approached Chad with his hand raised, accepting his victory, Chad was too overwhlemingly happy, and bear hugged Frodrick! He was finally able to get close to his loved one!

It might take some time for Frodrick to get used to his new "bodyguard", but for Chad, this was just one step forward on his way to Frodrick's heart, which definetly was a HUGE victory for him~ The End...?
