State of the Patreon
Added 2020-12-02 18:01:03 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Wanted to make a public post to make sure that I can get a broad range of feedback.
Currently, this patreon is, well... it's there! But I would like to know what my current patrons would like more of, and what prospective patrons would be interested in seeing?
Some ideas:
- Exclusive Raffles - Every month, patrons (likely at a 5 USD+ level) will get a shot at winning a free, single figure commission. I could adjust the level of commission, or the number of raffles at the patreon grows.
- Collective Goals - Essentially what I was trying to do with the Monthly Mirig. Create a body of content, be it a comic, image set, or some other work, funded by the patreon, with more of it being produced based on interest.
- Early Releases - A model I see among many patreons. Patrons get to see content a month in advance of public releases, and get high-res versions of images put into public releases.
- Exclusive Content - Get access to pics and comics available only through Patreon (personally my least favorite option, but I thought I'd put it on the table).
And, of course, if anyone has any ideas they'd like to see that aren't listed here, feel free to let me know!
In other news, I'm going to cut back posting to once a week on Saturdays, to make sure said posts have some meatier content. The dinner edits and WIP's that would be posted on Wednesdays will be rolled into the Saturday post, so nothing's missing - it'll just be more condensed!

2020-12-02 19:37:11 +0000 UTCI say the Exclusive raffle is a good step for a patreon and possibly to also bring people in for the chance at winning a almost free com Early release is always a nice thing to have for your patrons and maybe convince people who are not patrons to maybe think about joining up. exclusive content is in my opinion okay but i would save it for when you are bigger if you decide to do it Collective goal im always about Mirig getting put in a situation Other stuff i got is more on the outside of patreon which could be implement into it which is Sticker's from Redbubble of your character 's for people who cant spend as much on a Bopper and maybe desk ornaments of said character's as well i can elaborate a little more on this if you want but that's my thoughts and idea's for now :)
