He grows by absorbing/detecting the lies of others. So here he is playing around with someone that knows that has a crush on him, by growing and smooshing him under his bulge.
The other guy is really embarrassed about having a crush on Furleo, so he keeps on telling lies that he hates him and hates being with him, But this makes Furleo have much more fun teasing him. haha
