2026-02-05 13:05:34 +0000 UTCthere's always gonna be a weird bitch on a trip no matter what i'm convinced 😭 i'll never forget when me and my ex went to NY and were out with our mutual friend who we were staying with and her friends, and when it was time to be done w our outing, one of the friends KNOWINGLY got an uber that was only big enough for them 4 and would have left me and my ex WALKING (mind you we are not from NY, and we were in manhattan at midnight and had to make it back to the bronx) and was trying to convince the friend we were staying with to go with her in the uber and leave us bc according to her "we'd be fine" 😭 like obviously we could have found our way back or gotten our own uber but it's the principle, like why tf would you even do that? and the same girl was also pulling shenanigans with the bill when we went to dinner too like 💀 just insane behavior

Especially since most trips i do are planned weeks if not months in advance. If we’re doing a big/expensive city, we’re discussing plans months in advance. The only clear difference amongst us was that she was on the thicker side. It was our final night of the trip and it dampened everything. It was awful.

We literally walked outside grabbed her hand and pushed past them and got her in without even paying the cover. I would never stay where my friend isn't welcome. I wish people would pay attention to who is your friend or not. If this story is true im sure they treated their friend like crap before then. People only want to be "friends" with people they can put beneath them. No one is good friends anymore.

Me and my friend had some mutual friends who wanted to go to this event but when me and my friend (who is black) found out the venue didn’t usually allow foreigners (usually just anyone not East Asian), me and my friend decided not to go and we assumed our friends wouldn’t go (they went. We are no longer good friends with those people 😀)
