@44:26 I feel like we don’t hold this same sentiment when it comes to men like Cam Newton and Nick Cannon. Somehow, in their situations, we can understand how they are causing reproductive harm to their children and their children’s mothers. Somehow we understand in their situations how those broken homes that they created will affect their children in the future. But when it comes to women like Cardi B, you then claim that we don’t want to see black babies being born. The issue is not black babies being born. It is the fact that black babies arent just babies, thats the problem!!! Babies become toddlers, adolescents, teens and young adults. they then grow up to have questions, grievances, regrets, and even contempt for their parents as you said in the video the same black adults complaining on Twitter were once black children being born in these situations. Is it not smart to listen to them and their POV on how they were raised? Why wouldn’t we listen to those same black babies who are now black adults telling other people to not make the same mistakes their parents did because it makes them suffer? We ignore the damage that is caused, and in a perfect world, community and the government helps. But in reality , they don’t. Any single mother can tell you that the government and community are as fickle as they come, and that when you have a baby, it is a woman’s baby. It shouldn’t be this way, but it is. And so until the world starts to change, we should not advocate for women to just have babies. Those babies will grow up and will become adults, the things that parents do or dont do, say or dont say, teach or dont teach during their childhood will affect them, greatly

2025-10-14 14:02:39 +0000 UTCive worked in 12 hour daycare/preschool since 2020 and nothing like it has actively radicalized me to get out and do real volunteer work. like the moms are simply struggling and need community help. they need the govt to run them a check fr. and you are so right kenya that the people sitting on their couch at home disparaging (Black!!!!) mothers in all type of way have done NOTHING for the mothers in their communities, for the mothers in poverty. nothing. even other mothers are saying nasty things about each other and its like okay, im happy for YOU that there's 4 living and able grandparents to dump YOUR x amount of kids with for some FREE alone time. im happy YOU dont have to work full time to have peanuts still in your balance when the daycare bill comes, the place where your child is safe and socialized and taught and fed ? idk. its so exhausting
