Im too woke for dress code discourse

I’m a children’s librarian and I can’t wear logos or graphic tees at my library. 📚 I do believe dress code is important depending on the environment. I can’t show up in pajamas at work, but I can wear sweatpants and a hoodie and a bonnet to the store, and my mom still yells at me 😭😭😭

2025-08-27 12:18:45 +0000 UTCI get your point, but I am not sure how this hypothesis can work in homogeneous societies like South Korea and Uganda for example where people are still expected to adhere to dress codes in school. I think this take is very relevant for the USA but can’t really be applied elsewhere.
