yesss, all of kaytra’s studio albums have different vibes and styles that just click together every time for me, and even though he received recognition with BUBBA, I still don’t see much attention/energy given to him, especially with the timeless era. Raven on the other hand, has so much great music, she’s what new style R&B is, not a single bad project she’s released yet. When I tell you Love is Blind is my ultimate breakup anthem! Midnight Moonlight deserves so much more love and support, I still play songs from it everyday. We’ll see where the two artists go but I’m glad to see someone sees how important they are like I do! Also, I had to ignore the twitter conversations about music, it’s always someone spewing more and more BS. I just had to move onto my favs favs or songs that an artist featured ( like Rochelle Jordan when Kaytra added her on his album, her music is GOLD) and some parts of Reddit. How do you find discover new artists?

And Ravyn Lenae is a supremely underrated artist. A certain sector of Black people in the internet keep saying they want new and fresh sounding music, especially r&b, but they rarely go out and try to find new people to support! They just complain about whatever mainstream artists aren’t doing. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys alternative r&b and wants to support new people checks Ravyn out!

I'm honestly glad taylor and billie were both shut out bc I only kinda liked billie's album and really didn't like taylor's. plus, they're grammy darlings who have a bunch of awards anyway, so they can just make better music for the next ceremony 🤷♀️

When I came back a few hours later and saw that Beyoncé finally won AOTY, I cheered! She is still an evil lady for giving us so little time before starting the sales for tickets, I rearranging my financial schedule right now, lmao. I'm so glad that she's really gotten all she deserves.

It’s a thesis paper disguised as an album which is why it won AOTY. The rest of the nominees can’t say the same thing. And I can see why the Grammy voters had no choice! If you walk with me Cowboy Carter is the revised thesis paper after her initial thesis paper (Lemonade) got rejected.
