I strongly agreed when you mentioned child actors are okay (under the right circumstances) and I strongly agree kids shouldn’t have too many restrictions. Unfortunately I understand why parents do it, but I don’t believe it ends up working anyways, there’s always loopholes.

The fact that those grown ass men acted so beneath a CHILD is ridiculous and disgusting. More importantly, not every child would be able to handle that kind of pressure the way he did, especially when we take into account the very public scrutiny and extreme power imbalance. Some boys would succumb to something so dangerous, and it's not their fault at all. Either way, there is harm being done, and the teen boy navigating this situation that way is the best case scenario—which in itself is sad since it's not his responsibility in the first place.

(also, she does love is blind recaps, which drew me in to her videos in the first place lol)

As someone who plays video games and has been on voice chat with men I can’t tell you how so uncomfortable I get when they start to get misogynistic and will say sexist things to me. Most women I know who also play games have told me awful stories about getting harassed online and how it has made them not want to be on voice chat unless it’s with close friends.
