2025-01-14 22:21:23 +0000 UTCHeavy on the letting younger male actors win stuff, these awards will give all the awards to the younger girlies for mid movies but then cast the older girls to the way side just for the fact they’re older, but then let adrien Brody and Danial Craig’s old asses get stuff, but then again there aren’t that many young male actors making any noise other than timontee, not to say there aren’t any young actors doing good movies and getting good press, there just aren’t any making consistent mainstream noise that timontee is, the last time a young actor was getting mainstream noise was Austin butler and we haven’t heard hide or hair from him since Elvis, the pool of young breakout male actors in Hollywood is just small, so they keep nominating these old bastards

He could absolutely win. In regards to the black actresses in supporting.. I hate it. It's def worse for the women but when they pulled that shit with Judas and the Black Messiah? I was annoyed. wdym both Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith are supporting? Who the hell is the lead in that film then? They refused to give him lead bc they wanted to give Anthony Hopkins the award in lead.

But nothing about it made an impact performance wise to the point of winning Oscar awards if that makes sense. When you think of a memorable and pivotal scene where an actor has put their heart into it and you can't stop thinking about it....or when an actor FULLY transforms into the character... That's what award noms and wins should be reserved for. Cynthia is a POWERFULLY talented singer. Ariana as well.

It was quite literally one of the worst movies I’ve ever watched in my entire life. The only reason why I bothered to finish even finish it was so I could write a heinous letter box review about it.

I don't really have anything I LOVE like I loved Anatomy of a Fall, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Poor Things last year. I'm still catching up though so hopefully it changes soon.
