2024-07-16 16:32:49 +0000 UTCMy dad and I have had a better relationship as I've gotten older, but we've had our arguments and fights over the most important things, like forgetting my birthday 2 years in a row, projecting his feelings about his messy breakup with my mom, etc. It's been a lot! And I love my dad down. But sighhhh. I will say that he has always been there for my education. Going to the library, helping me with my math homework (because I suck at math lol). But the emotional aspect of parenting is a different story. All I can say at the moment without airing out my laundry lol.
