People have been saying that her man is a loser and she knows people are not kind to women how get impregnated by losers especially when you are a black woman. There is just so much baggage that comes with that. People see celebs as aspirational and folks get triggered that black female celebs are not exempt from making the same decisions we see poor black women make. The problem is that folks unfairly take that out on the women. When in reality, the real culprit is men specifically black men. DDG does not have to be a loser. He could choose to be a good partner. He could choose to not embarrass her like he has been doing. People wouldn’t have shit to say if he wasn’t fucking loser. I just hate patriarchy because no matter what men get to come out on top. We cannot call out these men for being the bums that they are, without their female partners getting defensive which only serves to push them together more. Or we have to tiptoe around the issues in hopes that it doesn’t trigger their defensiveness. We have to give those men some level of comfort and compassion they simply do not deserve.
