I really enjoyed Jill and Charlie from Scream 4, Sid's cousin. Every great villain needs to be someone you can relate with. She didn't get headshotted so completely plausible she could still be alive. Versus with this one... Yeah. You have a family of psychos, one of whom killed a lot of people they liked. Ritchie knew the risks, this is a franchise now no one is safe! So cry me a river with your woe is me crap.
I'm missing Neve Campbell's presence but it's obvious she wants to keep her children and husband safe.
I don't know how Chad keeps surviving? Because he got messed up good in the last one too. But I'm glad he did. Both he and Mindy (carrying on Randy's legacy). But it would be a good twist if at somepoint Ghostface went after Sydney's family and for one last time Neve has to faceoff. I really enjoyed her when she showed up in Scream 5. Putting bullets through doors, shooting first and not messing around. I would enjoy some more of that!
Okay rankings:
1) Scream 1
2) Shared by Four and Five
3) Three is a little better but I'll still put both two and three here.
4) And last is Six. They jumped the shark a bit with that one.
Cheers!

It is a shame the Carpenter sisters wont be back for 7.. but I get why they wont.. Melissa Barrera I think was fired over non-sense and Jenna stood by her which was nice. The original directors also didnt want to direct 7 so they went with the director of Happy Death Day which would have been a great choice. But then he bailed after all the drama . They did bring back the original writer of the first 2 scream movies to direct 7, Kevin Williamson. Im torn on that decision because he has only directed one other movie Teaching Mrs Tingle back in 1999.. but he worked closely with Wes Craven on the other films.. so hopefully he will do well.. Im cautiously optimistic. Neve Campbell wasnt in this because she was offered less money than she thought she deserved.. which I guess is a valid reason.. but I think she shouldve come back for the fans. Luckily she will be back in 7 and the story will revolve around her again along with her family.. most likely her oldest daughter. One thing I like that the creators of 7 are saying is that they are gonna get back to a more who-done-it vibe like the originals and less gore.. as much as I like 5 and 6 because they definitely reinvented the Scream franchise.. but I did think they went overboard with the blood.. but if you watch and of their other movies like Ready or Not or Abigail.. you can tell the two directors love their blood scenes.. With all that said.. heres hoping 7 will be good.. I think the hook will have something to do with deep fake and AI..

Chad Meeks-Martin was stabbed in 5, and he was stabbed over 10 times in Scream 6. I'm starting to think this Documentary might be fake.
