For those who know stories, plots and character (like Mary here) and those who also write them, "suspension of disbelief" is the willingness of the viewer to disregard logic for the sake of enjoying fiction. I think Superman may be the greatest example of this ... that Superman's diguise to Lois and all the world is a pair of glasses and acting 'mild mannered'. Okay, I'll suspend my disbelief. The one character who is written poorly here is Lois Lane. She could have been more formidable but is just a big blah. Is it the writing or Kate Bosworth's performance. There just wasn't enough sexual tension and electricity. Otherwise a nice addition to the franchise.

I think they did a great job casting Brandon Roth as Superman. He looks like Clark Kent, and he's 6'2 ", while James Morrison stands 5'10"
