Life update =)
Added 2024-11-02 06:42:29 +0000 UTCHEY guys hope you've all been well. This week's been wild. Had my brand new bicycle stolen, make a police report, talk to the owners corporation about getting cctv, looking for my bike at pawn shops and facebook marketplace, had to go to the doctors (3 times....some personal health stuff has come up). Land lord is doing some renos on my place (which I'm grateful for overall) and of course over the last 3months I've been doing improv comedy and my performance is on tomorrow. So I'm not as on top of things as I usually am...but I'm trying/getting there.
Normally I would've posted my entire month schedule by now, but i've just been kicked around a lil this month.
Hope you guys are better than how i'm currently doing LOL and had a great halloween period/enjoyed the scary cherry content. We are heading into chrissy time so if you want to suggest movies for a later poll coming in mid November, feel free to. I'll choose the most thumbs up comments to be in the poll. one suggestion per person otherwise disqualifies (wanna make it fair)...
Alrighty that's it from me... I'm gonna take a nap now.

2024-12-15 15:40:40 +0000 UTCYour bike is in a hallway about six blocks from your place with a lock and chain attached to it so the thief won’t have it stolen again🦇Sorry Mary! Keep an eye out. The perpetrator is likely to start riding it around town in a month or two🔮

2024-11-03 00:49:15 +0000 UTCMy sympathies for your misfortunes. Think of it as life trying to toughen you up for the improv. :-P For a movie, how about Scrooge (1970)? It's a musical version of the classic story*, with Albert Finney hamming it up (Golden Globe winner). * A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
Happy Hanukkah
2024-11-02 21:59:46 +0000 UTCComing to mind is The Hebrew Hammer (2003), a parody of blaxploitation films.

2024-11-02 21:53:43 +0000 UTCThe Family Man with Nic Cage and Tea Leoni is a fantastic Christmas Movie! It's similar to It's a Wonderful Life and I think you'd like it

2024-11-02 14:31:37 +0000 UTCIf you’re up for a classic Christmas animation, then A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) will make you feel all warm inside. Might even lift your spirits after all the challenges you’ve been through as of late.

2024-11-02 13:16:10 +0000 UTCGreat recommendation!

2024-11-02 13:10:14 +0000 UTCSecond on this recommendation. I’ve shopped at that Macy’s in NYC during the holidays. The top floor still had a working wooden escalator. It’s impossible not to feel the Christmas spirit there.

2024-11-02 12:02:30 +0000 UTCHey Mary, I’m so sorry about your bicycle. A few years ago my house was burglarized while I was at work. It was so traumatic and I can only imagine what you’re going through after they stole your bike. I hope everything is ok and you’re feeling better. Sending much love and light to you. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🍒🍒🍒

2024-11-02 10:18:57 +0000 UTCMy bicycle was stolen a little over a year ago. I understand. I usually watch Die Hard for the holidays.

2024-11-02 09:29:21 +0000 UTCSorry about your bike. Youu could watch Eight Crazy Nights. It is Hanukkah related and one of the few out there

2024-11-02 08:41:56 +0000 UTCI’m very sorry that ur bike got stolen, I know how it feels, I’ve had a few bikes stolen in the past. Also, IMPROV COMEDY?! That’s amazing Mary! Wish that I could see it, hope you’ll have a blast! For my movie suggestion, u should check out Violent Night. Think of it as Die Hard, except with Santa Claus. Saint Nick is played by the one and only David Harbour. Trust me when I say that if u watch it, you’ll be in for a Holly Jolly Christmas.

2024-11-02 08:23:53 +0000 UTCp.s. some ppl are suggesting non christmas related stuff which wont be included in the poll. pls have a read of my post. thnx guys

2024-11-02 07:41:14 +0000 UTCI really hope that you can get your bike back. I seen some of your other post and you really went 100% detective Mary lol. For a suggestion I’m gonna go with The Family Man. A fairly good Nic Cage Christmas movie. A little hidden gem for those who’ve yet to see it.
Hank Jr
2024-11-02 07:26:35 +0000 UTCJust keep staying strong Mary. We all love u! PS, I suggest u should check out Daylight with Stallone. It's a good flick that no one reacted to & it'd be cool if u were the first to see it!

2024-11-02 07:16:09 +0000 UTCOof, I know what it's like to walk out to a missing bike, at the time my only transportation aside from the bus too. Hope the best with the health issues, always the priority. Take care of yourself first. As far as recommendations, being that I'm (always) still in a Halloweenie type of mood, even around Christmas, if you haven't seen KRAMPUS, highly recommend, it's now one of my favorite Christmas movies, along with Bad Santa, Elf, and Christmas Vacation. If you haven't seen Gremlins I'd also highly recommend that, and Krampus is sort of in that same vein, horror-comedy.

2024-11-02 07:07:22 +0000 UTCI'm sorry to hear about your bike and all the other personal issues you've been going through, I hope you find your bike. I'm happy to hear about your improv show. I know it's going to be great and I wish you all the success. I think "Jingle all the way"(1996) might be a good movie to react to for Christmas. Take care Mary 😁👍👍

2024-11-02 06:50:57 +0000 UTCI recommend "Gremlins" (1984) for one of the Christmas movies. It's a classic and yes it takes place during Christmas 🎄
