If you like The Sandlot, I think you would also like the movie Stand by Me (1986); it's a Stephen King coming-of-age drama directed by Rob Reiner. "A League of Their Own (1992)" is an excellent comedy about The Girls Professional Baseball League Directed by Penny Marshall with Tom Hanks. They both are great films.
