Laid down in 1940 and later commissioned in 1943, the USS Iowa was the lead ship of the Iowa Class, which was also the last class of battleships commissioned by the United States Navy.
My new design of Battleships in the Ships of War collection are built to a 1:1000 scale.

She was also the sister-ship of the USS North Carolina and was also involved in numerous battles in the Pacific Ocean.
However, unlike the USS North Carolina, the USS Washington was sold for scrap and fully dismantled in 1961.

Premium instructions are free to download for top-tier patrons! The second ship for Ocean Julyner Month is the lesser known but famous RMS Carpathia which was the closest ship to the RMS Titanic at the moment of its sinking. It was able to save 705 survivors from the Atlantic Ocean and bring them back to safety after the event of April 12, 1912.
However, this MOC was built at a larger 1:1000 scale and is not relative to the size of the Titanic. I might plan on building a smaller though ...

Ocean Julyner Month has started off with a brand new ship in the collection. The RMMV Oceanic has one particularity though: it was never fully finished.
She was a planned replacement for White Star Line's aging fleet in the 1920's. Even with constructions starting in 1928, it was halted many times for studies on new propulsion systems until getting fully cancelled with the Great Depression and market recession of the 1930's.

I don't have an exact estimate as the reparation might last upto a month.

Not to be confused with the Typhoon-Class or the other Akula-Class of the Russian Navy, the Akula-Class (aka Shiuka) is one of many submarine classes serving the Russian Navy and was even leased to the Indian Navy for ten years!
The Akula-Class is a nuclear-powered attack submarine with multiple variations being built since the 1990's with some featuring an extruding bulb on the fin of these machines containing a towed array sonar.

Meet the USS Nautilus (SSN-571), the world's first nuclear-powered submarine and the world's first submarine to complete a transit through the North Pole in 1958. The Asama Maru (浅間丸) was a Japanese Ocean Liner that served her duties from 1927 up until 1944 as a passenger ship and a troopship. She was sunk by a torpedo launched from the USS Atule.
I built this ship at an approximate 1:1100 scale since a 1:1400 would have taken away a lot of details.
