If you think about it scientifically, Clara was born in at least the 1860s Doc the early 1900s so she’s way older than him. I’ve only been able to fully watch the scene where he ends it with Clara once. It’s that hard to watch.

Hey that's Leslie Barbara, the actor I mean, from the first Police Academy, he was the Sheriff or whatever who arrested Buford Tannen after the duel. Also, Mary Steenburgen (Clara) I just realized is in at least three iconic movies that I love, this, Parenthood, and Stepbrothers.

it's true

“The Outlaw Josey Wales” is one of my favorites for many reasons. One of them is it’s one of the first westerns which portrayed Native Americans with respect. Chief Dan George is in it and he’s fantastic. He’s also in another great movie with Dustin Hoffman called “Little Big Man”.

Jeff Mills

Every time Mary watches a western from here on out: "OMG THIS IS LIKE RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2!" xD I love that you watched all 3 movies, this was a fun little journey! BTW Clara and Doc mentioned reading the book "From the earth to the moon" and actually its an amazing HBO mini series now written for television by Tom Hanks and its got quite a few awards! Worth checking out at some point! ITs about the Apollo missions to the moon!

Is there a list of Clint Eastwood films yet? Other western suggestions?

So happy to see this reaction yet so sad this is the last BTTF movie. I actually like this one better than Part 2.

Jeff Mills

Great reaction! 3, 1, 2 is my ranking as well!

Jim Frykman

Marty: Great Scott! Doc: I know, this is heavy.

Great reaction! My ranking of the film series is the same! Part 3 has always been my favorite, followed by the original.

I dearly love all three of the Back to the Future films. My ranking is close to yours. First and third movies are equal for me, with the second right below those two, though I still think the second one is great. I knew you'd like this one, and your reaction to it did not disappoint. "Time is of the essence!" Haha, nicely punned, Cherry. Nicely punned.

Hi Mary. Since you like westerns you should really checkout the Yellowstone television franchise on TV. All the series in the franchise are so cinematic you feel like you are watching one long film instead of a season. Yellowstone is a modern day western starring Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Luke Grimes and Cole Hauser. It‘s finishing up it’s 5th season this summer. Then the mini-series 1883 came out last year which is a prequel to Yellowstone. This stars Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, with some surprising cameos from some Oscar winning and nominated actors here and there in the series. Then there was 1923 that came this December that is a two season TV show (season 2 to come out late this year or sometime next year) that is a prequel to Yellowstone but a sequel to 1883. The cast in this show stars Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, and Timothy Dalton. I highly recommend all of these shows and the writing of all these shows are excellent. I believe you would love these series. :)
