2023-04-17 16:34:38 +0000 UTCWhile all those franchises are good, The Man from Snowy River 1&2 is Australia’s most known and loved movies.

2023-04-17 08:03:15 +0000 UTCI don't know about excite me, but if I saw there was going to be a marathon of all those franchises, I would probably pick the Lethal Weapon Movies. They are all pretty good and have a nice blend of comedy and action. The Rambo ones are good too, lots of action. Not much story per se except for the first one because it's based on a book, but lots of action like the John Wick movies.

2023-04-16 17:53:13 +0000 UTCAlso looking for a new television franchise to start, I recommend the Yellowstone franchise. To watch chronological order (and not the order it came out) in the Yellowstone timeline you would watch it this way: 1883 (a one season miniseries that is a prequel to Yellowstone starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill with cameos from a-list film actors), 1923 (a television series that is a prequel series to Yellowstone but a sequel 1883 that has already announced it is a 2 season series and just finished season 1 starring Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, and Timothy Dalton), and Yellowstone (is in season 5 and waiting for Part 2 of Season 5 to come out starring Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, and Cole Hauser).

2023-04-16 13:36:33 +0000 UTCAlso the Cobra Kai series is a sequel to the Karate Kid franchise.

2023-04-16 13:23:27 +0000 UTCMy top 3 selections without the Cobra Kai Series as of right now would be 1) Misson Impossible 2) James Bond (starting from the 1960s) 3) Lethal Weapon. My top 3 selections with the Cobra Kai series: 1) Karate Kid (including the Cobra Kai TV Series) 2) Mission Impossible 3) James Bond (starting from the 1960s)

2023-04-16 13:20:05 +0000 UTCI think Karate Kid would have a lot more votes if the option was “Karate Kid (including TV Series Cobra Kai”.

2023-04-16 11:52:36 +0000 UTCIp man is a great franchise. The first transformers is worth a watch, but the rest suck.

2023-04-16 11:41:08 +0000 UTCThere is another Stallone movie which is very underrated from 1981 called “Nighthawks”. Stallone plays an NYPD police officer and a former Vietnam vet whose partner is Billy Dee Williams (Lando from “Star Wars”) and they pursue an international terrorist played by Rutger Hauer. It’s a very good movie and Stallone’s character is a Vietnam vet like Rambo, but different in many ways. It’s a film that often gets overlooked, but it’s really good and I think you’ll like it, Mary.

2023-04-16 10:48:37 +0000 UTCI suggested “Karate Kid” because I know you’re going to love it. Just trust me on this. I’m psychic. 🤪 Seriously, I have seen the future Mary Cherry reaction to this and even seen the thumbnail. In fact, I know one character you’re absolutely going to love. 😊 They’re both different movies, but John Avildsen who directed the first and fifth “Rocky” movies directed the “Karate Kid” trilogy. Both are about underdogs who face great adversity. And, the “Cobra Kai” TV series is the BEST adaptation of a movie that I have seen made into a TV show. It is so GREAT. You’ll love it, too. It did what I think most series fail to do: honor the past without living in it. 👍👍

2023-04-16 10:43:26 +0000 UTCThe Bourne identity franchise and the Underworld movie franchise are my favorite.
ATrain 23
2023-04-16 10:30:26 +0000 UTCMission Impossible is a great series but I think the best movies are the newer ones. Its starts to get great with MI3.

2023-04-16 10:15:36 +0000 UTCYes. Absolutely. First Blood is the best of the series. Right up there with the Rocky.

2023-04-16 09:14:30 +0000 UTCKarate kid movies were so amazing and successful, the original actors (all grown up now) did a new show together recently called Cobra Kai and it's also very VERY successful and amazing. Fun fact, Karate Kid and Rocky 3 were both inspiration of one another. "Eye of the tiger" was a song originally wrote to be used in Karate Kid but was used in Rocky 3 instead.

2023-04-16 09:13:55 +0000 UTCwould you suggest starting at first blood 1982
Mary Cherry
2023-04-16 09:12:51 +0000 UTCBond. Its probably my favorite movie series. Most movies are very self-contained so you don't have to watch them all if you don't want. Best Sean Connery Bond movies are From Russia with Love and Goldfinger.

2023-04-16 09:12:46 +0000 UTCRambo is iconic. The actual 4 Ip Man movies (not counting the spin-offs) are all excellent.
