First time we ever saw French kissing in a movie as kids (ewww gross!) only wanting to see a bunch of jets dogfighting in a movie. Later realized Take My Breath Away was one of the greatest love songs ever. Didn’t think anything of a gang of all-young pilot dudes hanging out in the Lockerroom wearing nothing but towels or tightie whiteys! Eye candy for girls??? Or gayyy gay movie 🤔 you decide. Guys playing volleyball shirtless, but with jeans on- doesn’t make sense! Some of the subtext seems gay too- you need to be ONE OF USSSSS, Maverick 😉 Anyways. Had a heated argument with a co-worker recently that we didn’t even know what gay was in the 80s at age 9. Top Gun and Raiders of Lost Ark were our first ever VHS tapes!

2022-11-17 13:07:59 +0000 UTC"Top Gun: Maverick" is one of the best movies Hollywood has produced in decades. Certainly one of the best sequels and well worth the long wait. It is proof that you can continue an iconic franchise if it is done with love and respect. Mary, I hope either later this year or next year you get to the "Karate Kid" trilogy and then the "Cobra Kai" series. I really think you're going to love them.
