2023-02-27 00:24:57 +0000 UTCI don't believe its ever revealed in the show and you're just meant to recognize his name, but Edward Teach is a very famous (I'd say THE most famous) historical pirate. He was referenced in episode 1 when they sent Silver to 'see him' but it turned out to be the whores. He's got a nice bushy 'BLACKBEARD' don't he :D There are other historical pirates in the show but i've avoided saying who they are in case it implies their survival through the show, however Teach was a legend long before the show started and the fact they don't ever make it clear irritates me a bit :D
