Interesting what you said about Marly and Ryder not having on screen chemistry. The actors were actually dating when the show was airing and they married off screen for 2 years before getting a divorce, but it was recently revealed that he had been domestically abusing her that whole time.

I agree that Marley/Jake is a better couple (again my personal biases about the Ryder actor aren't helping) and it's annoying that they do this to every couple. The Santana and Rachel scene was nice, and I think she might have cracked a joke normally, but she saw Quinn go through this whole thing, she's been the supportive friend before when things are serious, so that's nice. And yeah, the performances were really good. I remember when they filmed this episode they leaked the Come What May pictures, and everyone was freaking out for months, being so excited for that performance! You have a good run of episodes coming up, some of my favorites of the season are in the next few ones.

I think that that's something that holds up in the next few episodes too. But I do think that if there had to be a winner for the competition, the boys should have won though. I loved both of the songs, but the boys had a better mashup!
