The Nagisa Birthday Q&A: The Fourth

Nagisa: So. Are you guys ready?

Hera: As ready as I can be, I guess. To be fair, I have been looking forward to this as well.

Marie: Yeah, this show is always a lot of fun. Although I can’t help but be sceptical about why Hiros is already Hera at this point. Like no theatrics, not fanfare… just already girl goddess.

Nagisa: Well simple. For one, that means we are just three random goddesses today answering questions~

And for two it makes it easier to distinguish between Hera and Hiros53, the like actual creator behind the screen.

Hiros53: Thanks for the fourth wall break, Nagisa.

Marie & Hera: …uhm.

Nagisa: Anyway, time for a quick introductions round for the uninitiated! I’ll start. My name is Nagisa Fulkami, goddess of darkness. I’m a pretty powerful gal if I do say so myself. If you see me, you can almost always expect someone to change pretty soon after. The more monsters girls, the better, right? Hehehe~

Hera: I will go next. I’m Hiros sometimes and Hera other times, depending on Nagisa’s whims I guess. I'm just a regular guy who can use a little bit of magic by writing into a book. And mostly, I am Nagisa’s guinea pig whenever she wants to try something out. 

Nagisa: Not true! Not when I want to try something out. Whenever I transform you, I know exactly what I want. If you wanna be called a guinea pig of someone, then it would be a guinea pig of that evil fairy. 

Hera: Extremely fair point. That said, Nagisa is also my sister, so you can already imagine the things I have been through to get here.

Marie: I sure can… Anyhow, my name is Marie Arabi, it’s a pleasure to meet you all. As you can see I am a four tailed Kitsune goddess working part time as a substitute goddess for Nagisa, and fulltime as the CEO of my company Monline Tech. Maybe you have heard of it.

Regardless, I’m here as Nagisa’s apprentice and coworker today. And I am looking forward to answering some questions.

Hera: Oh yeah! Let’s do it!

Nagisa: Alrighty then! Here they come~

Question: What’s your favorite Pokémon, Nagisa? Aside from Zekrom. 

Nagisa: I quickly want to beat the allegations that Zekrom is my favourite pokemon. I like the generator butt, but it's like a B tier pokemon to me. It was Azalea who spread false rumors with that prank she once pulled. And now everyone thinks that Zekrom is the only pokemon I care about. 

Nagisa: Awesome. 

Is it because we are both Black?!

Nagisa: Anyway, back to the question… Favourite pokemon, huh? A bit of an unpopular pick, but I am going to go with Orbeetle. I like the little fella. I like fireflies, beetles and… aliens. So yeah, Orbeetle is right up my alley. 

Nagisa: And for all 2 of you who were thinking about it, one of which I definitely know the name of: No, I do not want myself or anyone else to be turned into the UFO bug. Thank you. Hehehe~

Question: Nagisa I know you are a more kind goddess, but when someone does something so bad you have to intervene, what kind of punishment do you normally go for?

Nagisa: Oh, I have intervened plenty of times in bad situations. And well, for those who don’t know, I can be quite… ironic when it comes to punishments. 

Nagisa: Like turning a girl who lies her way to the top with a split tongue into a lamia who transforms further every time she lies. And maybe even make her fall for and ultimately serve her worst enemy.

Nagisa: Or putting a nameplate on someone and then changing them. Over. And Over. And over again. Whatever's on the nameplate will always be true, which offers a wide variety of changes, from simple ones to very elaborate ones.

Nagisa: Needless to say, I can be very extreme. That said, if I had to summarize it: Bad guys will usually be punished with: Becoming a girl, monster girl and something they don't like. 

Question: To everyone: If you were in any Marvel worlds what would be your origin story?

Hera: Let see. I would say something along the lines of Dr. Strange. Just lots of practice with a magical book to then be able to use my powers the way I like them. That's probably how it would happen.

Nagisa: I bet Marie would be bitten by a radioactive Fox.

Marie: EXCUSE ME?!? Isn’t my story good enough? I got thrown into a freaking trial by a traveling goddess, a trial meant to be unbeatable, and beat it. Then she turned me into a freaking goddess and a kitsune on top of that! How is that for an origin story?!

Nagisa: …yeah. But would they put that into a marvel movie?

Marie: …

Marie: …how is that not good enough to be put into a movie…?

Nagisa: I don’t know! Hahaha!

In any case, I don’t really know all the origin stories of all the characters in marvel. They seem all over the place. But I would also probably not want to change how I got here. Coming from a place where everyone is powerful, grew to be one of the most powerful there, and then came to this world where I am practically a goddess.

Nagisa: …wait, isn't that Superman's origin story?

Question: Why are you so sweet and yet so lewd?

Nagisa: Because I am really like that…!

Nagisa: Nah, for real, I have a few reasons for that. First of all, it's fun. I like this little bit of lewdness in my life and want to bring back the lewdness into everyone's lifes. After all, pretty ladies with great appeal have a flare to them that only they can bring to the table.

Nagisa: And second, because I made a promise to myself that I intend to keep. A promise to not lose myself in all the years I spend as a goddess. I was a little bit of a perv before I got where I am now. So I intend to stay that way~

Nagisa: Also I am just naturally a sweet girl. Meheheheh~

Question: To Nagisa: How do you feel when people make lewds of you? 

To Marie: Has Nagisa ever made you fill in her Goddess duties? How'd it feel and will you wish to fill in for her again? 

To Hiros: How does it feel to have an all-powerful Goddess of Chaos as a sister? Have you ever had the typical sibling squabbles and how did you resolve it? 

Nagisa: AHAHAHAHA!!! Of course! Hahaha!

Nagisa: To be fair, it hasn't happened that much yet, but it definitely did. And I mean, hey man, if that’s what keeps you going, then go for it. I am a goddess of darkness after all, I do have quite a few fans~ And it’s somewhat part of my job to appeal to those fans too, right?

Marie: That’s definitely a take…

Anyway, to tackle my question… Yes and no. I mean, I am her substitute, so not only do I fill in whenever Nagisa needs another pair of hands on deck, it’s also kinda part of my job. 

Marie: That said, Nagisa works so much more than me in this godly business, that if she were to ask me to like take over for a day, I am pretty sure I would explode. I have no idea how she pulls that off.

Nagisa: Hard work and determination. And a butt-ton of magic.

Marie: Of course…

Hera: Well, it’s definitely not a normal sibling relationship, that's for sure. And as Nagisa is a little bit more on the… straightforward side, things can get quite wild. 

Nagisa: I’ll take that as a complement.

Hera: That said… hmm… sibling squabble. Well, I’ll say it like this: Be extra careful what you want to argue about with someone who can and will literally make your words come true. Because yeah, if the two of us disagree, that's mostly how it gets resolved. By Nagisa just playing evil genie.

Nagisa: It works pretty well I’d say~

Hera: I can’t even disagree with that. I wish more siblings in the world had this option.

Question: I don’t know if this is too much, but Nagisa, how do you feel about lgbt+ stuff?

Nagisa: I mean, if you ask a question like this, then you know I am going to give a controversial answer. 

Nagisa: I have and always will be in favor of saying that humans are humans. People may have different looks, wishes or, yes, orientations, but that doesn't make them less or more valuable than others. And I honestly don’t understand people who act like they are. 

So to summarize: Glad there is a word for it. Not so happy about how it is used. This whole “Us vs Them” mentality is getting pretty tiring after a while. But, that's how humans are. What else is new?

Question: Hiros53, who are the five characters that you'd most want in the next Smash Bros game?

Hiros53: Dude, my wishes have practically all already been fulfilled with ultimate. Pretty much everyone who I thought would never make it in… made it in. Xenoblade 2 and Persona 5 are my favourite games of all time… and wouldn’t you know it. I also really like Punch Out… oh, would you look at that. I also really like the Mario games and they have no shortage of characters. I even got into street fighter and fatal fury recently and they also got characters in there.

Hiros53: Seriously I got nothing. Like if they don’t pull like an absolute absurdity like putting Luka from Monster Girl Quest into Smash, I honestly don’t know how they can top it.

Question: Nagisa, say you're given ultimate power for a day. Like, ability to reshape reality, rewrite history, literally anything you want with all changes you made to the world staying even after the day is over. What would you do?

Nagisa: I have had this power exactly once in my life. I have used it exactly one time. And even if you gave me that ability again, I would probably not use it. I am already pleased with what I did that one time and don’t need a second opportunity.

Nagisa: What, you might ask, did I do? I rewrote my world. I absorbed all the magic into myself from that world, making all humans in that world stop being able to use it and then made it so that they would think they never had it to begin with.

Nagisa: Hehehe… doesn’t sound like something I, the feel good, sweet, slightly lewd goddess would do, right? Well, you are right. There is just way more to this story. WAAAAY more than I have time to discuss right now in this little panel. Just know that I have talked long and hard with the person who gave this opportunity to me and we both agreed that it was for the best.

Hera: …

Question: Marie, thoughts on your tail being hugged?

Marie: Damn, I feel like I am having emotional whiplash from the last question to this. But sure. 

Marie: I know how huggable my tails are. And I know how much pretty much everyone I meet wants to hug them. I was never against it, but I am a firm believer in asking politely before touching something that doesn't belong to you. 

Marie: Also, and I am not sure if I am the only one or if that's just a universal kitsune thing, but I really like when my tails get stroked or brushed. Just feels nice.

Nagisa: Oh really? Smirk

Marie: Gulp Yes… really? EEeeeep!!!

Question: Hera, who would you say makes a better goddess, you or your sister?

Hera: Oh yeah, Nagisa. 100%. No questions asked. 

Hera: Dude, I can barely be a functioning goddess of a city, let alone a country. Nagisa successfully handles multiple worlds… simultaneously. Not to mention that she is just way more powerful than me. If there isn't like a massive coincidence or an ultra rare special situation, Nagisa at her worst is still like a thousand times more powerful than me at my best. 

Hera: But if you mean better as in who looks cooler and sexier in their default form: I’ll say it like this. Nagisa is a girl in a black bathrobe. I am a four armed sexy lamia with bigger boobs than my sister. Not to brag or anything. You just be the judge of who is better.

Nagisa: Hahahaha!

Question: To everyone: If you were to make any cosplay of any anime or videogame, what would you choose?

Nagisa: Only really one character comes to mind for me: Tier Harribel from Bleach. I don't know why, but I feel like I can pull it off… even without magic.

Hera: Miia. Monster Musume. Do I even need to explain? I am just naturally a pink Lamia, that shouldn't be too hard. Also I like Miia, she is awesome.

Marie: I don’t really know much about cosplay… or anime for that matter? So… I don't know… What is a blue-black character…? Waluigi?

Hera: …you have a very interesting definition of blue.

Marie: >.<

Nagisa: Oh yeah, we are missing someone.

Hiros53: No.

Nagisa & Kelly who appeared out of nowhere: Oh common! But we want to know!

Hiros53: …Fiiiiine. Just make me into generic harem anime protagonist number 53. Yeah.

Question:To everyone: What are your thoughts on crabs?

Hera: Odd question, but sure. Yeah, crabs are cool.

Marie: Oh! OH! I have watched that video! The one where they are all dancing! Lots of dancing crabs. That improved my opinion of crabs a lot.

Nagisa: Humu, humu! Maybe I should turn more people into crab girls~ Hehehe~

Hiros53: I have a proofreading crab, so my opinion is naturally high~ Shoutout to CrabCaptionCorp CEO (Qwab).

Question: To everyone: If you could travel the world unrestricted, which country would you visit first?

Nagisa: …I don't think there is much point asking this question to a world traveling goddess, now is there? But if you insist: I like it in Japan. Visiting ever so often is quite great.

Marie: I will be honest and say that I don’t know what countries there are here. I am not from here. But if Nagisa likes this Japan place, then I am pretty sure I would like it too.

Hera: I am not much of a traveler myself. I prefer to stay home and near my place. But I would use the unrestricted travel too, because honestly moving between my place and my parents' place at a whim sounds like a dream.

Nagisa: It’s called teleportation and it is no dream.

Hera: Not everyone has godly powers on your level.

Nagisa: Fufufu~ True that~

Hiros53: I guess I am throwing my answer in here too. If I could go anywhere, I would definitely visit America again. And a lot of different places there. After all, I have a lot of friends living there that I would love to visit again. You know who you are and you know that I want to visit you all again~

Question: Hey Hiros, What Pokemon do you feel needs more love (e.g An evolution)?

Hiros53: Welp, I know a fair bit about Pokemon. And there are plenty of pokemon that I feel like could use an evolution, because they are just kinda bad. So I am going to say one of my favourite pokemon: Gastrodon. It has two different colors, designs and is overall awesome. It's not a weak pokemon by any stretch, but meh, who cares. Give me even beeeeger sea slug~

Question: What’s your reaction to randomly being called cute?

Nagisa: Finger Guns back So are you, cutie~

Hera: Why thank you~ Ehehe~

Question: Nagisa: Crewgisa or Nagimposter?

Nagisa: Haaaaaaan…

Nagisa: Welp, I wanna say “Haha, I am such a great Imposter. Look at how sus I am! Haha!”, but, and everyone I regularly play with can attest to that, I just never get imposter. I am always stuck as Crewgisa, through and through.

Question: What are your top 10 Monster Girl Encyclopedia monsters?

Nagisa: That's an oddly specific question. But I guess, why not. Let's do it. 

Nagisa: Vampire, Succubus, Kraken, Phantom, Chimera, Mindflayer, Cheshire Cat, Genie, Lava Golem and Bunyip.

Nagisa: Hope that answer is satisfying, you pervs~

Question: Nagisa: What mysterious things happened in your past that you haven't talked to anyone about? ... ... You can tell me - I won't snitch~! 

Nagisa: Hmm~ <3

Nagisa: Mysterious things, huh? Oh, a lot of things have happened before. But when you are a goddess for as long as I am, then the word mysterious starts losing its meaning. In any case, I can tell you a little bit about myself if that's what you wish. Things I usually have no reason to tell anyone.

Nagisa: Well, I am a goddess and as such do goddess work~ Hahaha! Nothing new, I know. But overseeing planets isn't always super easy. For some planets, yes, it barely takes any effort. They can just do their thing on their own. Others however need a lot more attention.

Nagisa: There are some entire governments that I communicate with, help them remain at peace, churches that need me to help the lost on their way. Sometimes it's just something simple like running a dungeon that I need to make sure stays challenging throughout, so adventurers stay occupied. Those are things I do on my job and I don't think I have ever told anyone.

Question: Hera: Are you usually longer Hera or Hiros? Which do you prefer and why? 

Hera: I usually feel like Nagisa only turns me into a guy whenever she wants to set me up to turn me into a girl again. I have been staying as Hera for a while now, judging this year probably longer than I am Hiros. But I also kinda like it. Both being just human Hera and being Goddess Hera. 

Hera: That said, it's really hard to decide which one I like best. I barely notice a difference except when they come up. Like I am a little bit shorter than regular Hiros, so I can't quite reach the top of my wardrobe on my chair, which sucks. On the other hand Lamia me can reach the top without the chair, but then doors become an issue. 

Hera: So to be fair, I can't decide. Sorry~

Question: Marie: What have you been up to? The world hasn't heard as much from you in recent times!

Marie: >.<

Marie: I know! I have been busy too. I have recently been promoted to CEO of Monline tech, which kinda piled on the work for me. So I asked Nagisa for a little more breathing room as my work just kept growing and growing. 

Marie: But the good news is that currently my workload is somewhat manageable, so I can actually be more goddess again. Which is a relief, because I really have been working waaaaay too much lately. Haaaaaan…
