Priest Diary 4 — Lightning of a new Era (Tg)

Entry Nr 24: This entire month so far has been one rollercoaster after another for me. I have never thought that a goddess can even interfere so much with the activities of humans, but I guess I was wrong.

It's funny, because the government and news don’t actually tend to hold me up to date with what is happening out there, but it is the soldiers that get resurrected by Delia and reborn by Ophelia that eagerly confess what they are seeing out there.

It seems that what the military is trying to do at the moment is mainly focus on attacking and bombing from the air, since the sea has become pretty much off limits for any military vehicle. Though even that has seen a stark decline.

After all, since Ophelia’s flames seemed to rebirth any and all people who harm civilians, attacking cities has become a practically impossible feat, since not only would the civilians survive because of Delia, but the attacker would lose an important pilot in the exchange.

The war seems to be as good as over, as unbelievable as this sentence might sound. Though I got to ask goddess Nagisa if she has any further plans or not. Since they might not be necessary.

Entry Nr 25: Oh would you look at that. A new priest. His name is Ethan… for now. Nagisa has not said anything on the matter, but I am sure this guy won’t stay male for long either, because I am pretty sure I have seen through that pattern already.

I even asked her what she needed Ethan to do and her answer surprised me.

“Humans are stubborn creatures. Once they put something to mind they will seek every loophole in existence to continue on the way they were going. Change is a difficult thing for them… but only if you give them options.”

That didn’t exactly answer my question, but it did make me realize something: For how relaxed and carefree Nagisa is usually acting, she is definitely one of the wisest people I have ever met and knows exactly what she was doing, since this clearly sounded like she was three steps ahead of whatever the government was planning.

Not related to anything, but today Delia let me ride on her back for the first time. I have never ridden a horse before, let alone a reaper centaur (found out her race was called Nightmare today as well), but I really enjoyed my time with her today.

Entry Nr 26: I am not sure if I should be as proud as I am of this, but I correctly predicted that Ethan would start to change by today. And also as expected, he looked a lot less manly than he did yesterday as well, that's for sure.

His body as a whole just looked a lot softer than before, which was very apparent since he wasn’t wearing any sleeves to hide his now hairless arms. He also had a very different figure as a whole, though I couldn’t exactly tell if that was because his hip size increased or his waist just pinched itself together.

In any case, the most striking change was definitely that his hair was now purple and reached until his shoulders, in a much more… fluffy way. I was seriously concerned that It wasn’t normal for me to actively look forward to how ‘she’ would look in the end.

Regardless, I told Nagisa what I have heard from the newest batch of purified soldiers today: That the military is planning for one last desperation move in hopes of ending the war before their losses get too great.

Nagisa’s response of “Great~ At least now we are following the same goal now~” had me burst into laughter for the first time in god knows how long. Though I doubt Goddess Nagisa would actually know that.

Entry Nr 27: From what I have heard the military is currently in a huge disarray with many internal struggles and fights. Just the fact that “as civilians” they are protected by the reaper from harm while “as soldiers” they are fated to die a meaningless death is not sitting well with a lot of the younger soldiers. And the older ones. Actually, a lot of them just in general.

Because of that as far as I can tell the army has currently completely stopped its advances, not being able to muster even a single battalion to move out for the entire day. So, and that is only if my sources are correct, this is the first day in over 40 years where there is not a single battle happening anywhere across the globe.

I had an ex-spy confess to me all of that today. Which makes this actually unbelievably believable.

Naturally I immediately went to talk to Nagisa about that, and lo and behold what I found in the heavenly realm: A further feminized Ethan.

He told me that he was still male for now, but he didn’t expect that to last for long, and it wasn’t hard to see why. After all, he had clearly two bulging mounds stretching his shirt to its limit, while his pants looked like they were only barely hanging on, by being skin tight against his honestly very thick thighs. And with his hips being easily fifty percent larger the need for a belt has also been completely trivialized.

Anyway, Nagisa herself wasn’t here today, seemingly having other duties that she needed to attend to, which is why only Ethan and Ophelia were around, who gave me two important pieces of information today.

First, according to goddess Nagisa tomorrow will be a big day for Ethan and he was very excited for that.

And second Ophelia’s wings are very soft and fluffy. So soft and fluffy in fact that I had a hard time seeing myself out of her embrace. I didn’t even know that Phoenixes could be such beautiful, dangerous and yet wholesome creatures. Makes me hope she is in the heavenly realm tomorrow as well.

Entry Nr 28: Despite Ethan having warned me from today, nothing really happened the entire day. At least, I should say, not yet. There seemed to be a universal agreement among the reformed soldiers I have seen today that tonight ‘something’ will happen. And I am pretty sure Ethan is waiting for that ‘something’.

In any case, as is usual on a day where I don’t have much to do, I went up into the heavenly realm to the girls relatively quickly, which is where I saw a combination I have not seen before. Ethan and Roze. Oh, sorry, she goes by Rozenkranz die Titanin now.

Though even Ethan goes by a different name by now, that being Kaori, due to him having changed even more in the last couple of hours. I am pretty sure that she is a full girl now, since the name change and all, and because her ‘assets’ had improved yet again.

Her bust was positively enormous, and her butt wasn’t far behind, and both were tantalizingly teased through her new shrine maiden outfit. Though it wouldn’t be a goddess Nagisa’s priest transformation if not at least something of her turned inhuman, so of course she sprouted a full fluffy fox tail and some fox ears overnight, which she seemingly loved to show off to anyone and anything she met that day.

That of course included me, though that also happened to cause something I wasn’t expecting. With Kaori forcing me to, in her words, “fluff her tail,” Rozenkranz seemingly got jealous and started to insist that I’d try to ‘fluff’ her tentacles as well.

To be honest I had no idea how to handle two girls fighting over me, so I just tried to go along with the flow. And honestly, it worked out pretty well. I learned that Rozes tentacles had an interesting scaly texture, Kaori’s tail is a dangerous fluff addiction tool and I am happy that Rozenkranz has a human-sized form, because I really don’t want to see her jealous rage in her shipwrecked form…

Entry Nr 29: I can’t believe playing with the girls yesterday knocked me out cold despite me knowing that yesterday night was such an important night where… not a lot happened, because Kaori stopped everything.

The big military plan is to send pilotless drones to destroy enemy headquarters everywhere, and it seemed like we weren’t the only ones with that idea, as seemingly multiple countries at the same time sent out drones due to some leaked intel, which made them all prepare for a massive air battle.

Until the weather around the world turned into a single massive lightning storm and stuck down every single drone that dared to touch the sky during that time. Even flying above the clouds seemed to not solve the issue, since yesterday the clouds seemed much thickened and more impenetrable than ever before.

In short, the massive drone fight ended in massive failure for every military and nothing else. All thanks to a certain fox girl who told me yesterday that goddess Nagisa entrusted her with the power of weather the day before.

This is another massive blow to every military out there and I am curious to know what the next step of our government… and Nagisa is.

Entry Nr 30: Unbelievable. Today, just one day after the massive failure of an air fight, a peace treaty was signed by 57 different countries across the world. The main reason for that seemed to be that every land's military was falling apart completely and the people had started to plead for a treaty harder than ever.

And because they had no military anymore that could harm civilians, they had no power to stop them anymore.

I can’t even believe that this is happening right now, which is why I am writing the diary so early again today. I need to speak to Goddess Nagisa about this development as soon as I am finished with my job today. Though, she probably already knows the good news.

Entry Nr 31: It is the day of Quinoa’s return and man you should have seen the look on her face. She was on vacation for less than a month, and when she came back the world was very fast approaching a state of world peace. There were of course a number of states who didn’t believe in the treaty yet, but over 90% of the world has already signed it.

And it was all because of those four Priests that sacrificed their humanity for the greater good. Though, on a bit closer inspection, all of them seemed to enjoy themselves very much in the process.

Makes me think. Would Quinoa transform me into a monster girl if I asked her for it? Then the five of us would match and I would love to try it out for myself.

Hmm… I think being around so many boobs has awakened something in me that might be unbecoming for a conventional priest… but who needs a conventional priest when you can be a monster girl, right?
