Dev News: Next Update Progress
Added 2025-05-03 12:58:00 +0000 UTCHi there! Today, we want to share our progress on the update that’s coming very soon! Here’s a short list of what’s ready:
1. New Mini-Game and Stats System
We talked about this in detail in one of our earlier posts. It was the biggest and toughest part of the update, but totally worth it, as it’ll let us expand and vary the game in the future.
2. Comic and Main Story Continuation
You’ll meet two new characters, see an animated comic, and dive deeper into the story. Most of it’s already done, and we’re now finishing up the dialogues.
3. Messenger Feature
The smartphone will now have chats with the characters. For now, there’s only a chat with Candy tied to a story quest, but we’ll add chats with other girls in the future.
4. Two New Locations - Abandoned House and Main Character’s House
Originally, we planned just the abandoned house, but since we changed our plans for this update a little bit, we decided to add the main character’s house too. As you can see, he doesn’t live richly, but let’s hope by the end of the game he’ll make some money and furnish his house better ;)
What’s left to do:
Finish all the texts;
Pick and add new sounds to the game;
Test the game for bugs and fix them;
We’re working hard to get the early access version out to you as soon as possible. All these changes took a ton of coding and art work, but they’ll make it easier for us to add lots of cool stuff faster in the future!
