About the New Mini-Game

Hey there! Today, we’d love to share more details with you about the mini-game we’re working on for the next update.

The Backstory

It’s probably better if we start with how we realized we needed a new mini-game. Our idea is to build the core gameplay around moving through the city and completing various activities in different locations. But once we settled on that, another question popped up: “How do we make players want to keep coming back to these locations again and again?”

That’s when we decided that the protagonist would have 12 stats, which players can level up by playing mini-games, completing quests, and progressing through the story. This way, as players boost their stats, they’ll unlock more and more new content in the game.

This new mini-game will be the main way to level up one stat or another. For example, when you play with Candy, you’ll be boosting your Romanticism stat. Candy will always be waiting for you at the "Abandoned House" location, ready to play.

In the future, we’ll add even more different girls, each tied to a specific stat. You’ll be able to play with each girl once per in-game day.

Mechanics. Stage One.

The mini-game is a date with a girl, split into two stages: seduction and sex. In the first stage, the gameplay revolves around collecting combinations of matching cards (the cards are flipped over, so you’ll reveal them without knowing what’s on them).

Each combination represents a pickup move you use to seduce the girl. For example, a combination of humor cards means you’ve cracked a joke, a combination of athleticism cards means you’ve flexed your muscles, and so on. The animated girl on the right will react as the meter fills up, and her clothes will gradually disappear until she’s completely nakеd ;)

The game will feature different types of bonus cards to make things easier for you. As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock more diverse bonus cards. In the future, you’ll also be able to buy or find different items that you can use in this mode.

Stage Two.

Congratulations, you’ve won the girl over with your charm, and she’s ready to make love! In this mode, you’ll be shown several cards that you need to memorize (the top field). Then these cards will flip over, and you’ll need to reproduce their sequence on the field below. For each correct match, you’ll earn points.

On the right, there’ll be a sex animation that progresses as the meter fills up. But keep in mind, if you mess up, the meter’s progress will drop, and the animation will regress accordingly. Fill the meter completely to see a pleasant finale! ;)

Everything mentioned above is WIP, and some things might change.

It was important for us to carefully think through every aspect of this mini-game because it’s going to take up a pretty big part of the gameplay. So if it turns out well, all we’ll need to do in the future is just add more different animations to it, which will be a lot more fun to work on!
