This Week At Minifantasy... (March 8th - 15th)

Here we are one more week to review what I have been working on during the last few days.

Minifantasy - Buildings And Structures WIP

Stone bridge

The first structure I have been working on for the March asset pack is a tileset for a stone bridge. It has been requested quite a few times and it is finally here :P With the tiles included, you will be able to create bridges of all sizes for your river crossing necessities!

Brick building and fence

I also added a complete tileset to create brick buildings and fences. I think it is a great addition for increasing the variety in the kind of villages and towns you guys can make.

Many more buildings and structures will be included in the pack before this month ends. Some of them will be tileset, like these two examples, but I'll also add a variety of premade structures. Stay tuned!

Minifantasy - Portraits WIP

I started a new Minifantasy asset pack focused on character portraits. I want to make a character generator where you can mix and match different features to create a wide range of portraits for your characters. My intention is to make it an app, so you can preview the characters you are creating and easily export them in png ready to use in your game.

It is a side project that I will be working on it during the following months. I wanted to share with you guys the early concept of it :)

The below image is a very simple sample to test the idea. In the final version, besides lots of different facial features, I'm also planning to include hats, hair, clothes, items and complements.

Here you have a screenshot courtesy of _Zero who already has been testing how these portraits can be applied to his game. Cute, isn't it? :)

Mimic Sneak Peek, Dire Bear

Lastly, I want to share with you a sneak peek into one of the Mimic Tier creatures for March. This one will be included in the exclusive archive for all of you thanks to Vaioui. I'm sure this dire bear is going to make your forest expeditions way more dangerous!

And this is just one of the new creatures that will be added this month! I will be sharing more of them next week ;)
