This Week At Minifantasy... (January 4th - 10th)

This is the first weekly report of 2021 and there are lots of things to talk about:

Voting poll results

You guys have spoken clearly and it seems that the vast majority of you want magic to be added to Minifantasy. This month I will be working on Minifantasy - Magic & Sorcery, an asset pack à la Minifantasy - Weapons that will add a good amount of spell animations.

I have already some ideas for the asset pack. I'm planning to divide it into elements, having 4 main magic schools: Fire, earth, water and wind. My idea is to create the animations to be able to overlap them over humanoid characters, like Weapons pack works.

Animations always imply a lot of work, but I'm quite excited about this pack idea. Magic brings lots of creativity opportunities and I feel it is going to be really fun to create this asset pack :D

December Patreon exclusive: Minifantasy - Adventurer's Campsite

Last month Patreon exclusive is already available here for all orcs and above!

This exclusive Patreon asset pack includes a selection of campsite props to create campsites for you heroes or their foes. 

This pack is 100% compatible with both, previous and upcoming Minifantasy biomes. Do you want to make a thief campsite inside a cave? You got it! You can overlay your campsite design on any level created with Minifantasy assets and it should merge smoothly. The pack also includes props in 3 different styles to ensure variety.

It also adds 3 different animated waving flags and 2 animated campsites.

Minifantasy - Silent Swamp itch.io release

Minifantasy latest pack is already available in Itch. It had a good release week being for a few days on the top positions of most popular asset packs :)

January special Minifantasy asset pack revealed. Minifantasy - Overworld

This month you will get a full additional asset pack on top of Minifantasy - Magic & Sorcery! 

Minifantasy - Overworld is a 4x4 tileset featuring all Minifantasy biomes! Specially developed to zoom-out Minifantasy world and see it with a wider perspective. Perfect for your world map or to implement other mechanics for your game like strategy perspective, travelling, area or zone maps, etc. It also includes a 4x4 version of Minifantasy - Maps that you can use to represent unexplored areas of your game world.

This pack was originally a commissioned custom work for one of our members here in Patreon, Ekroth. He kindly gave up on the rights so it will be available as a new pack in itch during this month, and of course at no extra cost for you guys :)

Minifantasy - Overworld will be available before Magic and Sorcery because it is almost done and ready to be released.

New Patreon tiers available

With the objective in mind of making grow our community during this year, I have added new Patreon tiers. All previous tiers still the same, every perk you are already enjoying remains unaltered. 

The new tiers offer premium perks and they are a little bit pricey compared to the basic tiers, however, I think they offer a good value and they might come handy for you, or for potential new patrons, at some point in the future. Also, the extra income allows me to invest more time in Minifantasy every month :)

To celebrate this milestone, I will create a new free Minifantasy asset pack to spread the Minifantasy word among even more people xD
