Damian Lewis, the British Actor that played Richard Winters was Drunk and hung over when he audition for the part. He was hired. Damian spoke perfect American English Accent and everyone else thought he was American actor. Nobody believes he was British. Over 90% of the actors are British in Band of Brothers. They all went through real Military Training. They all carried full weight of equipments on them. All the Actors stay in Characters even when they are not filming. Lieutenant Colonel Sinks AKA Captain Dale Dyie was a real Marines in the Vietnam War and he trained all the Actors in Weapons and Military tactics.
