OH Magy and Laura!!! This is one of my absolute favorite films. I think perhaps it is one of the best that 21st century Hollywood has produced thus far. I'm SO glad you ladies watched it and enjoyed very much the way I did the first time. I was STUNNED when the reveal at the end happened. SO many twists and turns, SO many excellent performances from the STELLAR cast.....you guys are actually the first among MY patreon peeps to watch it.....I was SO very excited when I saw the notification that THIS reaction had dropped!! I would like to tell ya'all about how this film did a BRILLIANT job taking a historical event and using it as the backdrop to a fictional rollercoaster. There was an event in 1889 called the Mayerling Incident, in which the Austrian Crown Prince Rudolph and his 17 year lover, Baroness Mary Vetsera were found dead in early January, in an apparent suicide pact. The film changed a few details of course, but much of it transpired in a similar way to the real thing. I'm looking forward to seeing what reactions are in the pipeline. Have a wonderful day!
