The original isn't really a "kids' cartoon". Yeah, it's child-friendly, but it has a lot of adult themes. I'd say it's more of a family show.

I am going to watch this first then go and watch the animated kids cartoon after! My only fear is, as somebody who hasnt seen the cartoon either, that people will spoil the cartoon differences and say what is good and bad with the live action. As somebody who has nothing to compare too, I think it would get annoying to constantly see because people who havnt seen the cartoon have no basis to go off of.

2024-02-24 01:30:34 +0000 UTCThe thing about this series is that it doesn't matter which you start with. The live action isn't meant to be a perfect remake of the animation, it's just an adaptation from a new perspective. Hope you enjoy the journey in the avatar world!

2024-02-23 22:54:50 +0000 UTCI think this will be cool to see this from your perspective and then if you like it you can watch the show and experience it in all of it's glory! I thought this was a great first episode. Some things to work on for sure but the world felt full, the effects were great, music was on point and some characters nailed it. Also there were some small details I see a lot of people didn't catch on to, but they add to the world and show that there was at least some love put into the show. It's not perfect but I think it's great for new watchers and people who love the OG show but aren't overly critical/happy it's not the other live action movie haha.
