Last post of the year; no short story this month
Added 2019-12-22 15:12:54 +0000 UTCWith the holidays, and with Zip! being in beta testing, and with me working to get at least a 10k-word CCH3 Issue 9 demo ready for you in January, I just won't have time to write a short story this month, so you won't be charged at the first of the year.
When I post the Issue 9 demo in mid-January, that will be a paid post, but still only at the $1 level.
Zip! is getting positive beta feedback, and I anticipate having final game files to CoG within 2 weeks. I'm anticipating a release in first quarter 2020, but we still have to finish the sidework (promotional choice slides, blurbs, art, etc)
Enjoy the last few days of this decade, my friends. I've thought a lot about how life has changed since 2010. One of my kids was a baby, I was working in a teacher-training program for professionals trying to enter the education field, and I had never heard of interactive fiction (outside of the Chooseco books).
Fast forward to now, my kids are 10 and 14, I'm happily working at a personal injury law office that gives me work-life balance, and the bulk of my "free time" is spent writing stories that most of my friends and family still don't quite "get."
I'm living my best life right now, and you fine folks are a constant reminder of that, so I thank you and remind you that YOU are appreciated.
I hope you can slow down a bit this week and enjoy time with those you cherish. I'm doing the same thing and will post in January when I have news about Zip! or Issue 9. Until then, have a speckacular time!
