So she tried to bring back Pietro, but as he is dead in the MCU, she brought it from the X-Men universe!

I really hate spoilers, and they can have such a negative impact on reactors. I shared the clip and the business side of Disney for two specific reasons I think justify it. 1: It is public knowledge. It has already happened and is well known. This Pietro is already well known to a ton of fans. This feels like it is just cultural knowledge the writers would assume we already knew--that being This Pietro is from another...multiverse? 2: MM explicitly said, "You can always explain things to me in the comments. I would be super happy to read them." She may be missing some cultural context that we take for granted, and knowing it will help contextualize what is happening.

Now that Disney acquired most of Marvel’s characters rights back from other companies, they are going to include them in future shows and movies. If you want a quick catch up for this Pietro I would suggest watching X-Men, X2, X-Men Last Stand and the X-Men First Class and X-Men Days Of Future Past. I think Larry and Ellie were going to for this also. There are the others I mentioned in a previous post, but I won’t go crazy here. Also, there is a thought he isn’t really her brother, but somebody else. The song at the beginning that was explaining a little of what’s going on is what 80’s tv show songs were like. If you’re interested, just type in 80’s family sitcom theme songs and you’ll get the idea, you might even want to watch the shows. One more side note, the actress who plays Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) has older sisters (Ashley and Mary Kate), who are twins (weird), and they were on a family sitcom called Full House. The reason the barrier turned Red, is because she is also known as Scarlet Witch, which is her mutant name and another reason they haven’t used that name is going back to what I said at the beginning about the rights to the characters. I grew up having to wait for the next episode, so it’s no problem for me, lol, I’m old.

2021-02-07 14:35:27 +0000 UTCAdam is correct. It is Pietro from X-Men, same character different movie universe. Disney bought Fox, so now they have rights to the X-Men. This means that Disney can merge X-Men with the MCU. A popular theory is that Wanda Vision is the catalyst to bring in the X-Men.
