You should react to SKAM France season 3! It's amazing and u can just skip to season 3 because the first two seasons are complete carbon copies of og SKAM so it's not even needed but season 3 is alot different and is done well

If you say something that offends another person, just saying that you didn’t mean it that way doesn’t fully excuse it. 🦷

2020-02-01 21:57:58 +0000 UTCThat's a good point! It always goes over my head that we are seeing this through the characters eyes so if they see something as disrespectful then we will as well. It can also be seen as a message to the viewer maybe? Like try to take other people's feelings into consideration, it's showing us what other people may perceive as disrespect or insulting? maybe that's obvious but I've only just realised!

I think it’s worth pointing out that much of the disrespect you noted is due to misunderstanding or lack of communication. No excuse for the lady from the first scene, but the couple that interrupt her praying didn’t know she was in there. She was kneeling behind the bed, so they wouldn’t have seen her even if they bothered to look. Also, Noora talking with the guy Sana likes: well Sana never told her she likes him. Sana is still hurt by these things, though. And since we always see this show through the eyes of the main character, we feel that hurt as well. I think we are meant to feel the disrespect, even if much of it was not intentional, because we feel what Sana feels. This for me is the thing that no other show does as well - making me feel exactly what the main character does. I love it so much! 💕
