I managed to go to the gym twice last week, even though I didn't feel 100% well from my sickness. It feels like you're loosing so much strength while being away for just 1-2 weeks, why is that?

Also I'm thinking about going to some sport store to buy new running shoes, I think the ones I have at the moment isn't good for running, always getting ache in my knees afterwards, haha.

Känns ju ofta som att man blivit svagare efter man varit sjuk också. Så det kan spela sim roll, kroppen är allmänt ur form efter man varit sjuk. Så det kommer snabbt tillbaka, muskelminne mm :)
