I thought the Borius family was destroyed by vampires and we're the only survivor. We really don't have anywhere else to go. Unless we heard rumor or have hope that someone else in our family survived. I mean, we made it all the way to the forbidden forest by ourselves, and that was before Donovan trained us in how to fight.

Maybe they'll slowly start to not take care of themselves and the child that they're carrying. That maybe will make Donovan realise how his behaviour towards them is affecting his mate's and their possible child health, and if he doesn't change, he'll end up loosing both

So, this one (correct me if wrong) I believe it's connected to the other one, where the last time we had a discussion about leaving it didn't end up with much consensual events, to say it simple... In my point of view, more Donovan treats his mate in such way, more they'll try to get away, especially if they end up pregnant... They'll end up scared, feeling trapped, and that'll leave a scar in them, and not just physical. I believe that in this case, Donovan needs to make up to Mate :3 (that's my point of view on the story happening anyway and my theory) Love you and your work! Keep it up with your content and take breaks whenever you need😊
