I've been talking about me having this "no sugar/low carb diet" before on my previous streams, but I never think I told you why I started doing that in the first place.
Basically like 2 years ago I started feeling bad in so many ways, like I was tired literally ALL the time, and not that kind of tired that you get from staying up too late or working a whole day. It was a different kind of tired and I could feel my whole body just being against me in everything I did. I could literally just lay in bed a whole day and not having the energy to stand up or to even cook my own meal. With this tiredness I also had other strange symptoms that made me think like, 'this is now how a young woman in my age should be feeling'. So I payed a huge amount of money from my own pocket to go see this nutritionist that believed a lot of the sickness that people get comes from the food that we're eating. She told me to start eating after this low carb / no sugar diet, which at the start was very difficult. Sugar definitely gives you an addiction that is hard to get rid off. There is basically sugar in everything we eat today. Sugar can be as addictive as drugs and alcohol and is very difficult to avoid due to its presence and addition to many food items. So I had to check the table of contents behind everything that I bought in the grocery store for example.
I started doing this and ate the way she told me to do. It didn't take me long before I felt how I got my energy back, started feeling less ache in my body and I could just feel like mentally that this did me good. Not to loose weight, but to heal myself naturally as good as I could, and I did myself and my health a favour not letting in so many toxins in my body.
I'm still eating like this today, the only day of the week where I allow myself to eat carbs or sugar is only on saturdays and thats been working really good so far. It was the first couple of weeks that was the hardest since I had to get rid of the addiction that I had for sugar.
Now when the weather started getting better I do try to take as many walks/jogs as I can, I try to do it daily and this also gives me more energy and on top of that I'm almost back in my dream weight again. But the best thing of all of this, is that I feel good inside.
I'll provide with a very informational link if you ever thought about quitting your daily intake on sugar, maybe this is the kick that you need.
