Smoke fills the air. Tinsel and ribbon lies abandoned amidst the building rubble. Wrapping paper is piled amongst the wreckage. Your ears ring with the aftermath of explosions and somewhere a co-worker is soullessly saying "Yeah, I'll see you NEXT YEAR, AMIRITE"
I loom above you. My face streaked with ash, and holiday glitter.
"Good, you're finally awake. You've made it, soldier. The holidays are over. We can start to rebuild. Take a breath. Here, I've been saving some of my rations for a special occasion... This one is Study Buddy Shenanigans Part 8. Enjoy it soldier, everything is going to be okay." 🫡
